The food was ok. The service was great. I had the seared Ahi Tuna entree rare ($29). It was 2 large portions in some kind of yellow sauce which had no flavor. The tuna was really not seared pretty much uncooked and tough. I ended...up only eating half and drowning it in wasabi. My husbands blackened mahi-mahi / grouper..was again a good sized portion but no taste.,,blackened should at least have a slight kick. There’s was a large selection of beers and wine at reasonable prices.More
We dined outside. Our server was very friendly and offered suggestions. The salad that comes with all the entrees is very good. They have a special house dressing which is excellent. For entrees we had the stuffed grouper and scallops with risotto. Both excellent. Overall,...great dining experience that is highly suggested.More
There were 6 of us(3 couples) and we wanted good seafood......we got it ! The food here was great and the service was incredible!! I highly recommend this place. Outside seating is a bit loud but that is easily overlooked ! I wish I had...pics of the food but I didn't even think about it, the complimentary hummis and flatbread is very good and every entree is served with a salad and house made dressing, even my very picky girlfriend liked the dressing 😯. Lol
I had the stuffed Grouper..it was awesome!
The price is nice also! This is probably the best place money wise to eat, it's not cheap but you definitely get what you pay for ! I would definitely go back in a heartbeat.More
The first time at snappers sea grill celebrating my one year anniversary with my girlfriend . Katie made the night fantastic. From allowing me to taste the wine before the bottle was poured . To making sure all our needs were met. Would definitely recommend...if your looking for great seafood along side the excellent filet I had. Thanks again !More
This place used to be great: fresh fish thoughtfully prepared with fresh ingredients and stylish presentations, efficient and pleasant servers, good wine list. All are things from the past. Our server was haughty, unengaged and more concerned with "not making $200 tonight" than providing an...excellent dining experience. The owner, "Dan" has traded down a lot on the cooking staff: my house special stuffed Grouper was way over-cooked, the seafood stuffing stank with a vague odor of ammonia, the sauce indistinguishable from mayonnaise. The server seemed overly impressed with the Potato Puff- bland tasteless potatoes in soggy puff dough. The stuffed Portobello was obnoxious- similar stinky crab stuffing buried in melted cheese goo and McDonalds secret sauce. YUK! Think of the worst banquet food and there you have Snapper's culinary program. Such a shame- the fall of a once mighty restaurant. We won't be back and we'll tell anyone we know to avoid this tourist trap.More
We ate here twice during our stay in St. Pete Beach. The garden salad and dressing was too good. I had the salmon and the beef tenderloin satay--both great. Husband had steak and lobster tails which he really enjoyed. Will definitely be visiting when we...return.More
