The food is excellent at this restaurant. It is always busy - we were lucky to get a table. Seating is comfortable, service great. We always try to come back here.

The physical restaurant is pretty average but the food is excellent. Large portions so consider sharing. We had a tuna appetizer and the tuna main and loved both. The homemade hummus is a bonus. Attentive friendly service. Happy to be back to have dinner here...after the pandemic pause. And it’s as good as I remember.More
Very relaxing ambiance, and Jimbo was the ultimate experienced server! He was so helpful with our selections, pleasant, easy going and very kind. My husband had the Mahi Mahi with coconut, cashews and a fabulous mango chutney. I had their famous crab stuffed grouper. After...two weeks of dining out in St. Pete’s we both agreed this was our favorite dining experience!More
My wife and I both had seafood - red snapper for me and shrimp and scallops on couscous for her - both were excellent. Our waitress was also excellent - personable and attentive. We will return to eat here again.
Great restaurant for fish. Great choice if you like fish, no point if you don’t. The food was amazing and the waiter advised us on the best dishes. The staff were great and friend. The food and drinks are a little pricier than other places...but it’s worth it. You will need to boom or be prepared to wait. Which brings me to the only downside. There is a small seating area where you can wait or you have to que on the street. You do get a buzzer so you know when your tables ready. There really should be a bar of some kind to get a drink especially as our wait time was 30mins.More
We finally found a good seafood restaurant on SPB after several tries. Very good selection of fresh seafood with many different offerings of preparation. We would definitely return. Service was very good. Atmosphere is warm, open and friendly.. We would definitely return.
Everything about this place was amazing from the house made ceaser salad to the INCREDIBLE lobster and deep fried clams! The servers moved around us so gracefullyl it was like watching a dance. Literally the best meal i ever had!
So glad we came here to eat while on vacation. The food was amazing and the service was just as great! Highly recommend!
we've stayed in St Pete for several years and always eat at Snapper's at least once.. absolutely delicious, have never been disappointed the service is fantastic too
I truly enjoyed everything we ordered from the beef satay with a beautiful peanut sauce, the Fisherman's platter with beautifully fried fish and fries yo the lobster tail. The waiter was friendly and knowledgeable; great suggestion on the pinot grigio to pair with the seafood.
We were recommended this place by a friend and are so glad we ate here. It’s almost across the street from our hotel (Hilton Garden Inn) so very convenient. We came early - 4pm - and were seated immediately. Our waitress was fab, helpful and...prompt and very knowledgeable. Brussels sprout app was great, so was the coconut shrimp. The crab stuffed portobello was incredible. For entree I had the Neptune platter (special) which was good but a little overpriced for the portion. Loved the potato puff pastry. Hubby had the salmon, very good. We are from NY but if ever down here again will definitely stop by. Thank you!More
This is a classic old time seafood joint with incredible service and old school Florida ambiance. Outside seating was wonderful and the potatoes in a puff pastry were quite unique. The Grouper special was an absolute Home Run and the wait staff exceptional.
Our dinner was delicious! We sat outside to enjoy the house salad with smoky garlic dressing, grouper, scallop and shrimp risotto and shared a chocolate key lime pie. All delectable!
We've eaten at Snapper's every time we've been at St. Pete beach and have never been disappointed. The food and service are excellent, a fine dining experience, not a touristy beach grill. The food is a little pricey, but the whole experience is worth it....Also, the servers are experienced, since most have worked there for years, unique to the restaurant business.More
The dinner was fabulous too. Snapper and rasoto was the special. The scalps and shrimp on rasoto was also great. Loved the salad dressing.
