Great, if all you want is a cocktail and beautiful view at the rooftop bar. Caution - the elevator does not get you to the rooftop. My husband is disabled and cannot climb the 2? flights of stairs. We had a table for 8 on...street level with plenty of room and no other table near. When the waitress delivered cocktails she stood at one end of the table, called out the cocktail and had us pass the drink down the table. She did that when she delivered water also. Table service was plastic and tissue thin small napkin in plastic wrap, When that napkin quickly dissolved, we asked for more napkins and they were decent. My order was burger and fries. The burger was over done and dry as was another burger at the table. The portion of fries was uneven with one plate containing 3 times as much - sloppiness. Another order was a rice bowl. The rice was cold and in lumps. A bowl with vegetables was also cold. We went to the Hurricane because we were rained out of the Paradise Grille restaurant on the beach - excellent place for casual dining and sunset. I had a less than mediocre food at the Hurricane on a prior occasion but it was convenient and out of the rain, OK, lets give it another chance - not again. Pricy for less than mediocre food.More

I am NOT impressed with this place at all anymore - was awesome back in 1982! Our server needs to retire ( ?Ann?) - she is a senior citizen who no longer has the social Or physical skills required for the hospitality industry - absolutely...made this experience even worse. The boom boom shrimp was minimal in quantity and the sweet chili sauce was not drizzled, rather served in a plastic container on side ( likely purchased in bulk from GFS).Grouper nuggets were also minimal and not worth the price- never did get any sauce as requested. Drinks were WEAK and small for the price. Will NOT revisit.More

We had our son's rehearsal dinner on Oct. 1st. What a wonderful experience it was. The sunset and atmosphere was beautiful. We requested they move our tables around to join both families and they did in a heartbeat. The food was perfect. Fun atmosphere. Shout...out to Russ, Tina , Meagan, and even Nick( who waited on us the day before when we were touring the place). We even had a new local gentleman anonymously gift $100 towards the beer! A special place with special people running it.More

This hasn't been one of our favorites for many years but we decided to give it another try and really enjoyed our dinner. The staff was pleasant and made us feel very comfortable.

Sat in the little lighthouse alcove. Our waitress Christine was excellent. Grilled grouper sandwich was top-notch. And the drinks were wonderful.

Have lived in Pinellas County for over 30 years have heard about Hurricanes Grouper sandwich and the drinks. Well Grouper sandwich was very disappointing undersized if it was 4oz I would be surprised it was suppose to be blackened no flavor I had side of...onion rings they gave me 4 onion rings drinks were small and expensive. It maybe 30 more years before I have to comebackMore

Stopped in for happy hour and enjoyed a wonderful view from the rooftop bar. Cold beer and good apps. Friendly service. From the rooftop you pretty much had a 360 view of water. Seating was comfortable with lots of umbrellas to keep the sun off...of you if you wanted. Only grip was that the bathroom was on the bottom floor and the bar on the 4th. Elevator was accessible however as were the stairs.More

We went for lunch the other day and the food was good. Make sure to park in their lot behind the restaurant, to avoid the parking meter fee. We sat outside, downstairs. The server was very nice and attentive. The food was good with large...portions. My daughter got a pina colada (virgin) and said it was really good (better than the one she tried the day before at another restaurant).More

I was at rooftop tonight watching sunset 12 plus feet away from anyone else. A couple of white patrons sat near me and 10 minutes later a manager asked me to leave the area. I was there for at least a half hour alone; then...two white women sat nearby and the manager asked me to leave. It was a clear case of racial profiling.More
