I asked a local where a good restaurant was. I was not looking for a beach bar but a real restaurant. They recommended Su Ottavo. Delight. I had the Carbonara, so saucy. The next day I went for lunch and got the Eggplant Parmigiano Delish

We went to Su Ottavo for dinner. The staff was nice and service was with a smile. The food was average. We had a couple of appetizers and a pizza. Everything was served hot and well presented, however, it was just ok.
The salad was huge and delicious. My main course was rich with cheese. This was not a meal for dieters. The house wines were ok.
We only got takeout. The servers were nice though. I chose my own toppings and didn't love the combo (anchovies & some italian sliced meat) so maybe it would have been better.
