The food here was above average. I had a spicy pasta which was very good and the wife had a burger which she stated always also very good. The drinks were good and the prices were a little above average. Overall it's a great place to go without the kids.

Great atmosphere and live music on the water! Food was phenomenal, even though it was slow to come out... Worth the wait! Would prefer a completely non- smoking environment, even for the outside bar. Amanda, our waitress, was a true southern gem! Place was bustling by the time we left!

We live locally and this is one of our favorite places to eat, drink and listen to live music. The lemon garlic grilled chicken is our favorite dish on the menu although there are lots of other choices. The $5 rum runners are fantastic (and strong). The ouside area looks over the water and there is usually live music on... More

After several visits I am a big fan. Food is fresh and well prepared. Citrus lime tacos with grilled shrimp and $5 rum runner specials! Oreo beignets for dessert were fabulous. We also ordered the lobster special that came with a nice 1.5 lb size and delicious blueberry coleslaw. It was perfectly cooked. Our server, Amanda was fun and attentive... More

I have to tip my hat to the amazing wait staff management and kitchen staff. We went through many obstacles to arrived at our destination this evening and when we finally arrived my nine-year-old spilled a huge glass of lemonade all over me. Our waitress and manager this evening did not hesitate to rush over clean up the area and... More

My husband and I had a great time. The bartender, Emily, was fantastic. She makes a great Malibu drink. The seafood Margarita and the grouper bites were yummy. If you visit Saint Petersburg, you definitely check it out.

we stopped here to eat with our dogs after spending a day at the dog beach. Good food, a bit overpriced but a big bonus for us was the pet friendly patio. If you are lucky, you can see dolphins from the deck!

I stopped into Salty Rim for an early dinner last night and thoroughly enjoyed their grouper sandwich. I will go back and I will tell friends. Our server Amanda was friendly. Great dinner.

We ordered the conch fritters (which I was excited to see on the menu- pretty good, the Macadamia crusted grouper (really good and huge portion), and the Crush Bucket to drink. The food was above average. A few small things were wrong with our order, but Bret fixed them immediately when brought to his attention. Overall it was a good... More

For everyone who loves redemptive powers of the sea and the sensual tastes of the very freshest foods and great drinks, the cure is indeed here: St. Pete Beach’s most festive dining experience, The Salty Rim Grill. The Salty Rim is something from the imagination of an old Florida dreamer or Buffet song. the fresh food is influenced by the great tastes of the Caribbean, Florida Keys and places that rim the Gulf of Mexico. But it’s even more than that, The Salty Rim is a state of mind; the nearest faraway place that the fun loving people of Tampa Bay can escape to… and please when you enter, be sure to check your worries at the door.
