I wanted to treat a special friend to a great birthday dinner. The server Matt was awesome - professional and courteous. The food and the atmosphere was also fantastic.

What an amazing meal. We had the surf and turf, it was cooked to perfection. Our server, Matt, was very good also. Thank you for such a memorable dinner. We will be back!

Wow did we ever luck out! We are first timers to St. Pete's Beach and we decided to slip away from the conference group to have dinner alone. My wife saw some prospects during the day, so we started walking. We saw the "Mad Fish" side walk menu board. Chef Oliver had been featured in a local rag so...in we... More

We liked it so much we came back a few days later. Although a limited menu, the food is done to perfection. First visit I had lobster encrusted grouper. Fantastic. Others at the table loved their entrees. Second visit I decided to try their red meat. Fillet Mignon was done to perfection.

overall good experience....fish was fresh but over-sauced and can be over-cheesed....ask carefully about these 2 issues in detail as they can overpower the fish....they had a singer who added to the experience.....looks like a converted diner but well done....sit outside at the few tables they had there

We have come here when visiting the area since the restaurant was new. We have always had a great meal, but tonight they didn't measure up. My wife and I chose Mad Fish over another local favorite because we had a short visit this time and we remember their grouper being some of the best we've had. Living in the... More

Small space on Gulf Blvd, looks like it may have been a diner in a previous life. Full on a Tuesday night, call ahead for a reservation. Generous wine list and draft and bottle beer, but no liquor. Nice seafood preparations and meat entrees, so everyone can be satisfied here. Grouper & shrimp sautee and skewered grilled shrimp were great... More

My friend and I ate here twice during our 10 day trip. The drunken shrimp is a must and so is the Chilean sea bass. I had that the first night and it was so good that my friend wanted to go back another night so she could order it. This is a small place so make a reservation or... More
