I have eaten filet mignon in many many restaurants, but this was the best hands down! I went back and it was again the best! Thank you!!

Wow. This place was amazing. We were looking for a 'nice' place to go in St. Pete beach, and apparently, that is a challenging thing to fine. This is one of the few 'finer' dining spots located in the area - from what we were...told. We did not know what to expect, as the place is set up in an old diner. But holy moly - the food was delicious. My wife, her friend, and I shared three plates. We had surf and turf, rack of lamb, and Chilean Sea Bass. The filet may have been one of the best ever. The lamb and fish were easily the largest pieces I have ever seen from a restaurant. I am not a huge lamb fan, but the four large pieces were savory and delicious. We actually had one chop on the beach the next day! The lobster was well done - and the fish was simply amazing. I wish that I could give you better adjectives; this food definitely deserves it!More

First time visit a few weeks back; should have written sooner, but the fact that I still recall a great evening says everything. Nice atomosphere, food and wine selection. But it was Marinella who made the evening. She made us feel normal again, A great...server, very knowledgeable and personable. We really enjoyed interacting with her. I hate the 'antiseptic' atmosphere some places have these days. Our evening at Mad Fish was just the prescription for a bad year.More

Highly recommended to make reservations. Very loud. Located central St Pete's Beach on Gulf Blvd. Food was very good but... 35 minutes to receive our Oyster Appetizer. Rack of lamb was very good BUT Au Jus arrived 15 minutes after the meal was served. Steak...was good. Too bad about service cause this could have been a very good experience.More

Classy spot for a nice supper. The flash fried brussel sprouts were DIVINE! A must order for starters! Lobster tail with asparagus and risotto was delicious as well.

From the moment we contacted Madfish to make our reservation to the moment we left the restaurant, the experience was wonderful. Our food was excellently prepared by Chef Oliver and the crew. The Chateaubriand for Two is a “Wow” experience! We topped off the dinner...with the flourless chocolate cake and it did not disappoint. Upon leaving we caught up with managers Carol and Ralph outdoors and they exemplify what a restaurant vision should be: to provide a pleasant, friendly environment for the patrons while delivering top dining for a reasonable price. We will be back and encourage anyone to give this gem of a restaurant a try!More

Great Stakes, lobster, entries and wine! A place for an excellent dining and service. We visit several times when we are in town. However, I did have an "interesting" evening on 3/13/2021 when I witnessed at close hand a disgruntled and inebriated couple trying to...get a free meal after finishing eating by complaining about otherwise easily resolved issues. They we loud and obnoxious and using the foulest language. When asked by an adjoining table to settle down, the women shouted to them "get out of my face". The staff and owner tried to politely handle the situation but the couple continued. I had enough... Since they were disturbing me and the entire restaurant, I finally told the woman loudly (what the staff could not do) to SHUT UP! They were ultimately ushered out to the cheers of everyone. I got several thanks and pats on the back from fellow patrons. Other than that, it was another great evening with my honey! Negative posts are usually made by these kind of negative people that don't get their way at the expense of others... :(More

Highly recommend madfish if your in the area! Great selection on the menu. I had the ribeye and my wife had the salmon. Both were delicious, both portions could of been shared. Both were cooked to perfection! We will go back! Only note is they...serve only wine and beer no spirits as FYI. We are ok with that but just a heads up.More

Delicious food by chef Oliver! We had their salmon, grouper and shrimp with a nice bottle of Wine and sat outside. The waiter was very attentive and made great recommendations on the food we ordered.
