The menu, curated by our knowledgeable waitress Andrea, was varied. We had the market special Cobia, mussels and scallops at her recommendation. All were delicious and imaginatively sauced. The cocktails were first rate as well—we have never had a grilled orange in a drink before!...The presentations on the plates were works of were artful and deserved to be served on a table with a tablecloth.More

I was there on 2/17 at 7pm with a party of 4. They started by telling us that they were out of the pasta entrée that I was going to order for dinner. Kind of odd, it was a regular item on the menu and...its pasta, but I will survive. We ordered our apps and entrées which consisted of one special and the rest were regular items on the menu. 5 minutes later, the waitress returns to tell us they are out of the special (the only fish item on the menu and it was salmon). Okay, now you are starting to ruin our dinner. We order something else and about 10 minutes later, the waitress returns to tell us that they are out of the flatbread appetizer that we ordered. You ran out of flatbread? Really? At this point, I just want to eat an leave. I might have gotten over that they were out of everything on the menu, had a manager stopped by or if they bought us a round of drinks, but they did nothing. I am usually a very generous tipper, but this was the worst tip that I have ever left for the staff (10%, which was still too much). I would not go back. Out of everything, poor service and average food.More

Had the best meal in St. Pete Beach area. We celebrated my 50th birthday with 24 relatives. Drinks were amazing! Dietary preferences were considered. Lisa was amazing and created a special event for our family!

We love chef quality food/presentation and attention to detail and this is one of those places where you can expect all that and reasonable prices. Great staff, servers who know their stuff, very friendly and very clean. Can't ask for much more than that, particularly...nowadays. Can't wait to go back.More

I saw a review online that mentioned this restaurant was "pretentious without merit" and I think that describes it perfectly. The first thing that I didn't love about this place was, you walk in, and it doesn't smell like food - or anything at all!...I really just thought that was so strange. The staff was nice, but the food was just ok, portions were small, and prices were high (too high for what we felt we got). We found another restaurant down the street that we LOVED, and ended up going there almost every night for dinner. So I say, save your $$ for somewhere else - this place is not it.More

Had high hopes as the menu looked great. Carbonara was overcooked. Fettuccine with wild mushrooms and goat cheese had little flavor and little goat cheese. Portions were tiny for the price; and I am perfectly happy paying for a high quality delicious meal. Overall just...a bland meal with a big bill.More

Called for help with a catering dinner for a large party. The owner wasn’t interested in helping. Was quite rude during our call.

We ate here twice and enjoyed both meals. Was very comfortable dining here as they were very mask compliant with both employees and customers. Pasta's are fresh made and can be bought from the store next to them.

We had a great night and you will tool..The temperature had dropped into the 60’s and the winds had shifted to the Northwest. The waves were crashing the beach and had been forced poolside for our dose of sun. On a lark we decided to...go out without having reservations at 6:30 p.m.—unheard of, especially one hour before sunset at Pass-a-Griflle Beach. As luck would have it, the cooler breezes discouraged diners from sitting in the outside seating at Grace and we found a table (perfect timing as tables were grabbed up moments later). This was a sign of more great things to come. We were greeted by Lisa who immediately thanked us for dining outside as the interior service areas were hot and stuffy. She, like us, was a Midwesterner, finding March temperatures in the 60’s to be more like summer in our region of the country. She immediately became our trusted guide in our unusual “tour de culinar.” We started with cocktails. After learning what traditional cocktails we liked to drink she guided us to their signature cocktails. Great move. The choices were rich, unique and within the palette of our normal choices but added times and shades of flavors absent from our usual selections. We tasted and shared the Queen Kong and the DJanga. If you like Manhattans and Old Fashions you will love these. As we had feasted earlier in the day on home Grilled Fillet Mignon, Cheddar and bacon twice baked potato and Greek Salad from Shaner’s Market at our poolside retreat we thought we would just have a simple appetizer with our drinks. We were steered by Lisa to the Crispy Cauliflower. We were amazed. The cauliflower (white and purple) were perfectly tender but not mushy. The outer surface was crispy buy not breaded. We learned that the cauliflower is coated in a fine corn meal and then the delicacy is flash fried. There was. No grease or oil. Only this delicious and warm morsel. We were brought 3 dipping sauces that included a Korean BBQ, a Chile based sauce and an aioli. We preferred the first 2 that were just the right amount of tang and heat to set off the morsels. There were so good, my appetite was piqued. How could I stop? Plus I had more cocktail to drink. We asked for the menu and looked for something warm and light. There it was, the Truffle and Parmesan Fries. And right we were. They were so crispy, flavorful and perfect for the next phase of our dining. As we began thinking about ending our stay Lisa approached with a suggestion that we try dessert. In that we were not in a hurry we humored her with a request to give us the list. They all sounded amazing, but the night called out for the warm beignets. We had to wait 8 minutes. So what. The sun was setting, we had a street-side view of the color, people to watch and our cocktails to savor. The 8 minutes passed in a flash. The 5 small desserts appeared at our table. They were perfectly golden, lightly coated in sugar and in the center of the plate was a mountain of the lightest and tastiest whipped cream I had ever had. The desserts yielded to our forks as they were filled with the cream on the pathway to our waiting mouths. There was just enough to end the dish wanting more but knowing that the end had come. This was an amazing evening, with great staff, great food and a unique tasing experience. We encourage everyone to explore this restaurant and its menu-not feeling compelled to dine in the usual fashion or order. Make the night your own. We sure did!More

The restaurant is attractive with both inside and outside seating. We had very good salads. My wife loved her linguine and mushrooms, and the grouper I had was delicious. Hosea was a very good server.

Such a shame that Linda could not admit to ruining our evening. Such a shame that Lisa the owner could not respond to emails after acknowledging that we were coming to dinner to celebrate a birthday: "What a wonderful celebration! We’ll have something very special...for you!" We showed up, no acknowledgement, no anything special, no care. And when I called the next day, all that Linda could say was "I didn't read the notes in the reservation." No apology and no care. Don't count on this team to pay attention to special occasions or requests. Emails and phone calls to Lisa were not returned. They take customers for granted.More

We recently spent two weeks in Pass-a-Grille and ate at Grace 7 times. It’s that good! We had delicious grouper and corvina, great appetizers, the flatbread of the week, homemade soup, key lime pie, and beignets. My husband, the foodie, said he had one of...the best cheeseburgers he has ever had. Highly recommend! Note: We only dined outside and they followed all COVID protocols.More

As a visitor it seems to me that Grace is a high expression of Pass a Grille Beach. If you don't get the vibe you won't get the restaurant. The food is exceptional and the service is beachy. Have great taste and get over yourself....Ive paired great food and great wine at Grace and the grouper dish is #1 among the personal 24 grouper dishes at FLA coastal restaurants I've "tested". (A personal research project, like the NYC pizza project). I love this restaurant. There is something wonderful to turning your chair to the street and drinking in your wine and enjoying the street choreography, Notably I have only eaten outside to date and recommend the experience.More
