Service good. Food bland. And bartender wouldn't/couldn't make a skinny margarita? Hush puppies came out bad. Not going back.

Always can count on Blue Parrot for consistently good food and outdoor dog friendly seating with a view. Staff is always friendly and always good service.
We have eaten here for dinner many times and it was just ‘eh’. We came for lunch today and it was much better. No wait, good service, good food.
On the beach, varied seating options. The flyer on my table that said to eat quick so they could feed people waiting to be served during the holiday was unnecessary. Raw oysters were good.
We were three in our 50s and wanted to sit near the beach in the shade. No one else wanted to sit there but they wouldn’t allow us to sit there because it was a large table. We would have spent plenty but they didn’t...want our money I guess. We are locals and won’t be back.More
ALL of the staff were very rude, we had interactions with 5 of the staff and none of them were nice. Food was just ok, VERY EXPENSIVE-definitely not worth it. We ordered seafood platter-just ok, cluster of crab legs, stuffed shrimp-horrible, grilled chicken-good, grouper-ok. Would...NOT go back.More
Great view, not a long wait, bartender was hopping and kept things going. Scallops were wonderful. Conch fritters only so so, extra brown but not quite done in the middle. I’d still go back Cause they’re dog friendly!
If you’re wanting to eat at restaurant on the beach in St. George Island, Florida, this is the place. The waiters and waitresses are very nice, the timing for food was not bad (we went for lunch one day on a Monday and it was...super fast and then for dinner on a Friday evening and, despite the place being packed, the ticket times weren’t outrageous (I’d say we waited about 30-35 minutes (I know a good ticket time is 12 or under)). Although, some tables that were sat after us got their food first, so, if you’re coming with a large party, be mindful that they might focus more on getting through the sheer volume of tables as opposed to who was there first (and that may not be the case all the time, but that just seemed to be the case for us that night). Also, we were sat next to the bar, which was fine, except there were a lot of people smoking right next to us. So, if you don’t want to sit near people smoking, make that clear! I would recommend the Grilled Chicken Club sandwich with fries (the menu is a little confusing about whether you get one or two sides with that (the waitress even recognized that it was confusing)). It was very good! They do also have a very nice gift shop there. It is wonderfully air-conditioned in the gift shop if you want to stand in there while waiting for your table. 😁More
Food was great. Service was fast and efficient. Nothing too especial. Only hopping place on st. George.
We rode over to St. George Island for the day and found this spot on the beach. They have a great patio space that overlooks the gulf. We started with onion rings but they have a tuna dip that looked really good too. We had...the grouper basket and scallop basket for lunch and both were very good. Overall a great experience and will be back!More
My husband and I ate lunch twice while visiting the island. The first day we ordered fried crab claws as an appetizer and they were the best we have ever had ( we order them at every restaurant that we can). I also had the...scallop basket with fries. The basket was just OK. My husband ordered the blackened grouper sandwich both days and absolutely loved it. The second lunch I ordered was blackened grouper tacos. They were served in a burrito tortilla with just fish and lettuce, salsa ( out of a jar) on the side. The fish had a nice flavor, and the taco sauce that is served with it is awesome. I have had much better fish tacos, however. We loved the view and that you could walk right up from the beach and dine. We would return if visiting the area again. Service was good both days.More
We got seated right away because we went early. We were at our table for 15 minutes before anyone came to take our drink order. After that, things went pretty smoothly. Our waitress was nice. The food was decent. We probably won’t go back again...during this trip, but we would if we ever come back to SGI.More
We ordered Grilled Grouper Tacos, on a Saturday afternoon. The menu mentioned fish, lettuce, onion, salsa and a special sauce. The only thing on our tacos were bland, tasteless fish, shredded lettuce and a glob of nondescript sauce. The Blackened Grouper Sandwich was no better,...as it was also bland, uninteresting and did not have any of the condiments listed on the menu. The onion rings were "the worst I ever tasted." This place used to have good food. It is not good any longer. Plus, they raised their prices. The views of the Gulf are their only saving grace. They have lost my business.More
The seafood and cocktails were good. Our server Paula made the experience the best. We will be coming back and asking for her!
Grouper sandwich - the fish was delicious, blackened, very fresh. But the bun - meh. Like a basic boring hamburger bun. You would think for $20 for sandwich I could come up with a better bun. My husband had shrimp tacos and he said they...were nothing special, just fried shrimp, lettuce and some sort of tasteless sauce in a soft shell taco. The service was OK and the food came out quickly. The atmosphere looks promising. When you walk in the entryway it is really nice with exotic looking plants in a wooden walkway, but we ate outside on the deck and it was just plastic chairs and tables with seagulls pooping. We won’t return.More
