Great dinner. Highly recommend the swordfish. Calamari is awesome as well. If you are looking for a unique drink, try the Key Lime Pie Kingtini. It’s amazing.

First, our server was outstanding. He provided us with the specials of the day and was very attentive to our needs and checked on us often. I was a bit disappointed by the food selection. It seemed that most of the food was what you...would find at most places in the area. It was pretty busy when we arrived for dinner. The food was good overall. The fried goat cheese was nice. The items we did order were well prepared.More

Timely experience. Food was hot and delivered quickly as we let the waiter know we were in a crunch for time. Shrimp and scallops were great!

We ate outside in the Gazebo. Beautiful view of the water and great ambience. Enjoyed the music. Large selection of choices. It was the best meal we had while visiting St. Augustine. Seafood was fresh and prepared well. I did not give it 5 stars...because after sunset, it got really buggy which I feel the host should have advised.More

This is a regular go-to restaurant for us while we are in St Augustine. The food and service are usually very good. I was disappointed this evening. My oysters on the half-shell were delicious although a bit gritty. My special, the grilled wahoo was rather...dry and chewy. I had asked for it to be prepared as the chef recommends, I guess it went a bit over this time. My wife had the tree hugger roll which she usually gets here. She said it was good. We have usually enjoyed our meals here so we will still come back. The view of the boats at the marina and the huge bridge makes it a nice relaxing spot to dine. 4-6-2022More

We decided to nob-knob with the yacht crowd at Kingfish during our recent trip to St. Augustine / Vilano Island. From the moment we arrived, we were pretty disappointed. First, I was totally surprised to see plastic table cloths and a fairly run-down looking dining...room overlooking this beautiful yacht landing. The menu was fairly parred down so I expected near perfection from the chef. That's not what we received, though. First, we ordered oysters. It was 7 p.m., and they were out of oysters. So, we ordered a sushi roll (a Bubba Gump). The roll itself was pretty good but nothing special -- nothing I wouldn't find in other areas of the country. Then, we decided to share an entree. We had been over-indulging for the previous few days and both thought sharing would be a great idea so we could enjoy the rest of the evening. We selected Shrimp & Scallop Alla Vodka, which was described as flambéed with vodka finished with a tomato, cream sauce & penne pasta. The scallops did not seem flambeed. In fact, they seemed warmed up -- that's about it. And, the tomato cream sauce had absolutely no depth of flavor. It was bland...absolutely bland. It was garnished with a bit of parmesan cheese but nothing else -- no herb -- nothing fresh. Much of the penne was actually clumped. The dish was orange and sad-looking. Plus, the dish did not come with any type of bread or crackers or anything you'd expect to see with a pasta dish. We finished with a slice of keylime pie, which was good but nothing I'd describe to friends as being a great part of a meal in St. Augustine. Basically, we were very disappointed. We expected far more, and what we thought would have been a high point for dining on our vacation ended up being a low point. We had far better meals.More

We were staying in Vilano Beach near St Augustine and this restaurant was perfectly located for us. It was along the water and on a warm pleasant day was ideal for our lunch. The service and staff were friendly. They did announce immediately that they...were out of a couple items before we ordered. (They we’re getting ready to close for a few days for some renovation, so we’re out of a couple items) The food was very good and we would recommend this restaurant highly.More

How quickly manager Dylan Hess made us feel at home at the intimate but casual Kingfish Grill on Camachee Cove at St. Augustine, FL. Fresh is the hallmark of the Kingfish. We started with the most excellently seasoned New England Seafood Chowder. Linda got her...scrumptious shrimp and I feasted on right-out-of-the-water blackened swordfish with two different sauces, roasted garlic herb butter and a spicy Thai chili sauce. Yum! Following Dylan's lead our server Mason made sure we had everything we needed, an he made us feel like we'd been comiing there for years, like a local. To top it all off the restaurant is at a marina with inside or outside dining, a nice bar and patio fireplaces. With five stars being the top, I'd give the Kingfish a seven! Buon appetito!More

Upscale marina dining.. We were a party of 10 celebrating New Year Eve. Reservations not taken and arrived about 5:15. Place was already bustling. Requested outdoor seating. We were seated by 5:30 in a nice niche. Food and drinks excellent as was our waiter!!

We were staying at the Camachee Inn so it's a quick walk through the parking lot to get to Kingfish which is super convenient! Kingfish is in a beautiful setting on the marina and the trees were all lit up and it was just lovely....There are lots of outdoor seating areas and there is a spot on the side to watch the sunset. (There is also indoor seating). I ordered the fish sandwich which was very nicely done. Seasonal veggies were broccoli and cauliflower which was plain veggies in a cup. Absolutely no seasoning whatsoever so very bland. I also had the chef's potatoes which were potatoes with parsley. They were delicious! Husband had shrimp and grits and that was blah. For dessert we shared a coconut cake and that was made inhouse and very good. If they put a bit more thought into their menu items this restaurant would be AMAZING. Service was stellar!More

This little tucked away restaurant has a great selection of food choices with very reasonable prices. They have indoor and outdoor dining located right at the marina with a full bar plus a sushi bar. Parking is a premium.
