Went to LePavillon for my birthday dinner on July 5 as we used to go years ago and enjoyed it so much. New owners have taken over the place that was once filled with atmosphere and lovely food. We walked in to the coldest looking...place I have ever seen with this horrible overhead lights glaring. No even a tea light in the candle holder to light our candle. The description of the place on the website is false. The food matched the atmosphere, terrible. The crepes florentine came out of a can of mushy spinach and the french onion soup was not good either. It looked like the owner was the cook and server and the daughter was at the front. The only thing they had going for them was a parking lot that you didn't have to pay $15 to park your car. We will always remember the Old LePavillon and chalk this up as a very bad experience. So sad the new owners think they did this restaurant the justice it deserved with their bad taste and false information on their website. The first thing they said when we sat down is that they were out of several items that we wanted to order and they had just opened. NOT A GOOD SIGN!!!More

I absolutely love this place! They have the most mouth watering filet mignon I have ever eaten. Everything about this place is fabulous. The food is scrumptious. The service is spectacular and the atmosphere is divine. Very French country and so welcoming. They also have...the most fabulous Orange Martinis. Very romantic place to dine.More

Had company in town and brought them . Many of the menu options were unavailable. They are closing and should not be open if they are not prepared to cook the options on the menu. So embarrassed that our friends had to pay the astronomical...bill for sub par food.More

If you need to make up for all those mistakes, take her to La Pavillon and all is forgiven. This is the best continental cuisine that I have enjoyed in St. Augustine. It is consistently outstanding! Service is great in a quaint atmosphere!

Their twist on an Old Fashion is excellent. The food is excellent. The service is the perfect blend of attention and privacy. This is an excellent place for that quiet dinner with someone special!

Nice upgrades in atmosphere and selection of food. Fun appetizers and food 🥘Five of us shared food. The chef customized our requests. Healthy opinions and a great selection.

We have been regular clients at the Pavillion for the last 20 years. The food , atmosphere and service has always been delightful. Although we have no complaints about the existing service, the food and atmosphere have taken a hit. An additional bar/lounge area has...replaced a cozy dining area. Gone the quiet corner tables and the hushed setting . Loud music downstairs. We opted to be seated upstairs in the newly opened dining room. No relief there. A narrow, unadorned, unattractive room with a guitar player on full amp. Air conditioning set on Arctic. I ordered the schnitzel, always a house specialty. It turned out to be a very small, lonely, very tough piece of meat . ..nothing like the large, succulent offerings of the old Pavillion. It was accompanied with a bit of spaetzle which may have shared a pan earlier used for fish. Not all was bad... good service, nice salads and desserts. But the new venue ideas, the lower menu quality have turned this into a mediocre restaurant. I hope they will readjust.More

We are so sorry to hear that you are not enjoying the changes, Richard W. While we can certainly understand that long time patrons of Le Pavillon have had a hard time adjusting to the new atmosphere we do feel it is much more reflective...More

As residents of St Augustine always enjoyed going for dinner at Le Pavillon. . The early day special was a favorite but no longer served. The service has changed to the point of having to call after servers to get service. The menu has change...to serve a special dining experience that is not palatable for us. Will not be returning any time soon.More

First let me say that the staff and the meals were outstanding. My rating reflects the management personnel. Arrangements for our large party for a private room were made weeks in advance of the set date and the restaurant was visited 4 days prior to...reconfirm - we were assured all was in order. The entire group showed up at the restaurant to find that the private room we had reserved was already occupied by a group smaller than ours. There was no management personnel on the property at the time of our arrival. The wait staff did the best they could to seat us and set tables accordingly in the general public area of the restaurant. Management was ultimately located by phone and apologies were issued and a single bottle of wine was offered as compensation -which was politely refused. Needless to say this restaurant will not be visited nor recommended by any of our group.More

In the door and a nice welcome, the decor was a bit worn but the service and food were really good, will have to return to try the varied dinner menu and more drinks
