Mom and pop Cuban cafe (blocks away from gargantuan bustling Columbian Restaurant franchise) is nestled among small friendly art and antique galleries on narrow street short walk from the Casa Monica hotel. Can rave about their friendly prompt service and superb lean slow roasted pork with a small cup of perfectly seasoned Mojo sauce served with plantains. So generous I... More

WONDERFUL and friendly. Tasty food. Enjoy the food! Every time we come to St Agustine, we make it a point to stop in. Five years now and always great service.

We are outside - traveling with our 2 dogs. My husband ordered the special - the picadillo; I ordered the feta salad and we both cleaned our plates! He complimented the stuffed pepper- so many places over cook the pepper to mush but it was crisp tender. My salad was a perfect balance of basil, avocado, and spinach/romaine. Wait staff... More

La Herencia is on Aviles St. - the oldest street in the country. We had a nice lunch here. They specialize in Cuban-centric food, and the dishes are tasty. It is a good place to take a break during your walking tour of town.

We found this place on our pass through St. Augustine. Quaint little restaurant with a quick menu of sandwiches and several dishes. I ordered a steak sandwich which was delicious, the sweet plantains were so good too. Unfortunately my kids were not fond of their Cuban sandwiches they said it was cold and they told me after the fact. The... More

The location of this cafe is in a quaint, quiet street. It reminded me European cafes. The food was good/average- hubby had the Frita ( he loved), I had a salad, it was okay ( it did the job), and the sangria was average. Our server was not the best, gave us wrong soup specials ( winded up not having... More

The waitress was very nice and attentive, however the food was mediocre. I've heard good things about their Cuban sandwiches though, but sadly we were unable to try them. They were located on a cute little side street. We ate outside and it was quiet compared to the rest of the downtown area.

This little gem was one of our favorites. We ate here twice during the week. Loved the Cuban sandwich. Breakfast was good too. Our waitress was so friendly and helpful. We sat outside at the sidewalk tables and soaked up some sun and local culture. Much quieter here on Aviles St. vs. St. George St. I don't usually eat dessert,... More
