Good place to eat. The sampler platter was awesome. Food is under salt but still worth the visit. Great views from any seat.

There are so many great restaurants in St. Augustine. A gentleman at the Best Western suggested it. I think they get a bonus for the suggestion. Our server was nice and my grandsons steak was good but I won't go back.
When out of town, location is just as important as menu. We chose an upstairs balcony table with a water view. My friend had a A1A Mule in their cool copper mug and was a happy gal. Went with several members family and friends. Food was pretty good but service was a bit slow and somewhat unfreiendly. Staff acted like we were putting them out a bit. Several of our groups members commented that it felt like we were boring unwelcome tourists. We were in fact tourists, possibly unwelcome but I sincerely doubt that we were boring.
This place is better for drinking. My friend really enjoyed her A1A Mule drink but sent back her tuna entree because it looked unpresentable and tasted even worse. I sent back my mashed potatoes because they were mostly whole potatoes.
We ate at A1A Ale Works on a busy Monday night so we sat in the downstairs bar to avoid the wait. That's where the trouble started. In the Women's rest room they had a dish on the sink with a gritty solution to use on your hands ... It's wonderful please may I have the name of it !!
