This is an iconic building on the bayfront, formerly the home of a famous wax museum. The building is really cool and the location is awesome. The acoustics, however make the dinning room impossible to have a conversation in. We elected to eat on the outdoor upstairs terrace which was very nice. The service (bar and food) was slow but... My wife and I live here and A1A is one of our favorites for a night out. Always good food, often very busy. Reservations are best, but well worth the forethought.

My husband and I were in town for a family vacation and decided to have a date night after someone suggested the Ale & Cheese soup. It was amazing. The service wasn't great but the food made up for it and we went back the next day for lunch and the service was much better! I'd highly recommend the ale... More

Just love this place. Fantastic location and views, especially if you get an upstairs window seat. The cheese soup is fantastic and I particularly enjoyed the mango BBQ wings.

Really good food! Not an everyday place to eat because it is a little pricey. If you like to try different beer this is a great place to do that.

We visited the A1A Ale Works for the first time this year. The place is fun, with a great atmosphere. A nice Water view or old town view is possible from the restaurant's balcony. Otherwise, the first floor's bar is nice. It can get noisy, obviously. The food is quite good. I had the jambalaya and it was great. Their... More

Dinner here on a work trip. We made the climb to the upper level and were promptly seated. Our server, Amy, was there quickly to take our drink order and give us time to browse the menu. She made a few recommendations. Very engaging as well. I had the shrimp and lobster tacos and the were pretty good. The side... More

We enjoyed A1A Ale Works for lunch with friends. I had a seafood platter that was delicious. Also, the craft beer was perfect. Friends had a Cobb salad and mango chicken. Ask for an outside balcony seat and enjoy the food and beer

Located on the corner of King's Street and A1A, you couldn't ask for a better spot. We sat upstairs on the balcony and although it's late August, the temperature as comfortable and the view was spectacular. They have a nice selection of their own beers and a good wine list. There are many options for food and the service by... More

Enter to bar & band. Be prepare to wait for a table in the hustling noisy inside but enjoy a rewarding, relaxed, casual dining on 2nd floor with beautiful balcony view. Good burger, interesting beer list.
