Good place to eat. The sampler platter was awesome. Food is under salt but still worth the visit. Great views from any seat.

My wife and I arrived at A1A Ale Works a little before noon on a Friday and was able to get an inside window seat on the east side which gave us a view of the Bridge of Lions – a great table. We both ordered the Ragtime Shrimp. I ordered lemonade to re-hydrate before ordering the Red Ale, brewed... More

We had discount coupons from Best Western and were pleased with service and view (second night, second floor). Liked the vibe, seemed like a mix of locals and tourists and across street from harbor at the foot of Bridge of Lions. Food was above average, not the least expensive, but not crazy money either. Friendly service, enjoyed the place, would... More

Had awesome service & food was great! Get the beer cheese soup. It's better than the lobster bisque. Crab blt was great!

There are so many great restaurants in St. Augustine. A gentleman at the Best Western suggested it. I think they get a bonus for the suggestion. Our server was nice and my grandsons steak was good but I won't go back.

When out of town, location is just as important as menu. We chose an upstairs balcony table with a water view. My friend had a A1A Mule in their cool copper mug and was a happy gal. I had their light lager, also good, and we both ordered the shrimp and lobster tacos--a great choice. This isn't gourmet dining but... More

Delicious strawberry mojito. My husband and I came for the drinks and appetizers, everything was delicious. Friendly staff. Worth it!

Went with several members family and friends. Food was pretty good but service was a bit slow and somewhat unfreiendly. Staff acted like we were putting them out a bit. Several of our groups members commented that it felt like we were boring unwelcome tourists. We were in fact tourists, possibly unwelcome but I sincerely doubt that we were boring.

This place is better for drinking. My friend really enjoyed her A1A Mule drink but sent back her tuna entree because it looked unpresentable and tasted even worse. I sent back my mashed potatoes because they were mostly whole potatoes.

We ate at A1A Ale Works on a busy Monday night so we sat in the downstairs bar to avoid the wait. That's where the trouble started. The big pipe that runs along the ceiling was dripping on half the tables, we had to move twice to find a seat that wasn't getting dripped on. But it's an old building... More
