My husband and I love coming here for the fantastic sandwiches! Today I brought my Sicilian mother in law and she was impressed. I wish they were closer!

Best Italian Deli we have ever found. We travel at least once a month from Ocala to pick up the Ravioli and enjoy our favorite "Hit Man" sub. Clarke and Ani

I drop by when I am able. Love their sandwiches with their homemade mozzarella. Definitely try their Italian sweets. Wonderful!

I must say my experiences are limited to the #3 sub which is now and addiction, the cannolis and there cheese cake made with ricotta. These items are wonderful. The owner and staff are very friendly. Wish they stayed open later.

Everything about this place brings me back to Rutland , VT. Where Italian food is prevalent . Gil’s sandwich shop in Rutland , est. 1963. I went there as a child when they opened . Not many places that do subs “right”. Drakes deli is...a great example , but a bit of a drive when living near Butler beach . So I tried D’Aleo’s , and it’s a tad more “Italian “ than Drakes , both serve fantastic subs. But for nostalgia, I’ll give the nudge to D’Aleo’s . One reason .. better Italian meat selection and Italian hot cherry peppers vs some hot relish mix. And with both , your supporting a family run biz, increasingly hard to find when it comes to food.More

Friends are what you will meet at this restaurant. This wonderful family owned business is a must if you want a real Italian sub. Yes there are many other things on the menu, but I can’t get past The Godfather. So delicious and I wish...I could eat two. The great folks that own this establishment make you feel right at home. Do go see them!More

Greeted like a friend at the door as soon as you walk in. Everything made from scratch. A true mom and pop Italian deli. Lunch time sandwiches are perfect. Chewy bread, fresh meats and veggies with the right amount of oil/vinegar. Always a great selection...of olives, pepper shooters, and cheese. Grab some of their fresh sausage if it’s there. Highly recommended.More

Lunchtime Joint that by taste can do more. Sandwiches are ok some nice fancy sounding combos but if size mattered they would be lost. Ordered one chicken parmesan and one eggplant parmesan Both where served with soggy bread from reheating in the microwave. Mind you...both were promoted as fresh on thier window. The chicken was lacking flavor other than the bread crumbs coating it. The eggplant lacked any taste was mushy and cold in the middle. The Tomato Gravy was tasteless & lacked any home made definition which was then topped with a slice of cold deli cheese. Somethings in the cold case looked homemade as if they came from a real Italian deli in a big city i.e. dessert's . The inside lacks room and was crowed but it was lunch. Two small bland hero's with two bottled drinks ran $23.00. looking over the deli menu for meats found a pound of Mortadella at $10.00 a pound ; Procutto Deparma was over $26.00; Liverwurst was 9.00 a pound. Which is odd as this was the very first time I have been to an "Italian" Deli that carried Liverwurst. The staff was frendly and the owner and his Mom too. But just because you speak Italian and can hand a piece of cheese or two from the ceiling and then advertise it as an "Italian" Deli is just wrong.More

Stopped to pick up cold cuts for a party. When you see 10 people in line, you know there’s something worth waiting for. Fabulous mortadella and capocollo served amiably by people who know their stuff. The homemade style sandwiches looked and smelled delicious. Worthy of...many return visits.More
