Just had a delish dinner at GAS. They're always good but we haven't been out much lately. It was nice to find lots of room on the patio, everyone wearing masks and the most savory dishes.

Outside seating, properly distanced tables, servers in masks. All good. Great beer selection, lots of burgers to choose from, but we ordered the mahi entree with Mexican street corn and coleslaw, and the jerk chicken with beans and rice. Both were excellent. The coleslaw and...corn were unique, and we highly recommend. Pleasant surprise considering the funky outside decor: old truck tires!More

This is a very casual place. It looks like a diner, but the menu is artsy fartsy. Lots of burgers, but with high end stuff...avocado, arugula, etc. The service was good, the girl super nice, but it took 3 beers before we got our food....And when the food came, it was not super hot. It tasted ok, but not great. We'll probably not go back.More

My husband is a gear head and when he saw this place he wanted to stop it. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. We were seated and the waitress brought our drinks quickly. We ordered some Ruben egg rolls, they were delicious!...I had the meatloaf with creamed spinach, mashed potatoes. Everything was full flavor. we will definitely be back the next time we’re in for vacation.More

This restaurant is located across The Bridge of Lions from historical downtown St. Augustine. Per their website, their "food is made from scratch daily using fresh, local, and seasonal goods as much as possible." We enjoyed our dinner in this fun restaurant, which used to...be a gas station. There were 50s looking chairs & tables. They had a nice menu. For example, in addition to the usual salad toppers, you could choose grilled mojo marinated tofu or a grilled seasoned tempeh patty. They had a variety of options, including quite a few burgers, "Florida raised beef ground fresh in house daily and served on a homemade bun!" FYI, their Jalapeno Popper Burger was featured on the Food Network! I took off half a star though, as hubby said the tamari (similar to Chinese soy sauce) in his vinaigrette overwhelmed the taste of the salad dressing. When we left, there was a line of folks waiting to get in!More

Don’t let the decor scare you off. Excellent food for a very fair price. Will go again next time in St. Auggie.

Food was good and worked for a mixed group of vegans and meat eaters. Quick walk over lions bridge - restaurant was quirky retro vibe.

We had Tiffaney as our server and she was excellent! She was very knowledgeable of the menu items and most likely is a "foodie" like we. We had 2 Tiki small salads which were among the best salads we have ever had; hubby had a...rare choice of a burger with fried egg and bacon atop and prepared exactly as he wanted (called a bunless burger.....who really needs the bun anyway); and I had the portabello mushroom caps dinner which was good. Then came the dessert (all homemade); tough decision, but we chose the "healthy" choice....actually it was compared to what she described as the others (which we will try with a lighter fare soon); the choice was a creme brulee coconut tart. It was creme brulee (torched top just right) encrusted in a pie crust and a thicker than normal custard in creme brulee but also a good portion of strands of coconut. Atop was fresh cream. It was outstanding. Haven't had anything like it before. We split it; and left some of the crust to save calories. A great variety of draft beers, too. A young gentleman seated us and brought the tent sign over so we could peruse the beer list. Enjoyed them, too.More

We had a very good lunch at this former gas station that Hs been converted to a fun restaurant. It is located just across the Bridge of Lions from the historic district. There were 4 of us and we all enjoyed our choices.

It is in a building that has been many things since I was a kid but is now decorated in a manner that is reminiscent of being in a gas station including the bell that goes off when someone drives in
