The food and the staff were excellent! Their service was wonderful. The food was fresh and pretty much farm to table. From the Ceviche to the Carob custard, it was top notch. I would highly recommend.

I can’t say enough about this amazing restaurant. The staff is friendly and attentive, the ambiance is relaxing and quaint... and the food 🤤is the best! I’ve never tried a dish that I didn’t LOVE. The chef really knows what he’s doing and you can...tell his passion for this with he flavorful creative dishes. Highly recommend! Perfect date night or special occasion, or even just don’t feel like cooking. 😉More

We were celebrating our 40th anniversary in ST Augustine and chose this restaurant for a special dinner on our anniversary date. I called two months ahead and spoke to a gentleman who told me to call and make the reservation a month in advance -...he said this after I told him the day and date. I called again, one month before the date, and spoke to a woman about our reservation, again sharing the day and date. She told me they were now using the Open Table App, and asked me to book the reservation there, which I did. I received a text confirmation, AND an email confirmation, the day before the reservation. We drove 7 hours and left early enough so that we would arrive with enough time to change and get to the restaurant on time. We ended up walking (one mile) as we were planning on having cocktails with dinner, only to arrive and find the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. This was confusing as neither employee shared this fact with me, and because the app allowed the reservation and even sent confirmations. I called and left a message but never heard back, so I called again and spoke to a young man - I shared all of the details with him and asked to speak to the manager. I was told the manager wasn’t there but that the message would be shared, and my call would be returned. I think the worse thing about the whole event is that they didn’t even care enough, or have the integrity, to ever call back and have the decency to apologize. Perhaps, as this appears typical of their level of customer service, we were fortunate they were closed.More

We had a delicious dinner. The food is creative and the service is excellent. Llama serves beer and wine only. The restaurant is intimate.

After coming to St Augustine for nearly 30 years now, I rarely try a new restaurant. However, I am glad I did. This place is great and you cannot miss out. My wife and I split 3 appetizers and one entrée plus one dessert (and...left very full but happy). We also did a glass of sparkling to start followed by a glass of red with our entree. For appetizer we had the Ceviche Lima, the Conchitas, and the Causa Trio all were great. For the entrée we split the Mar y Tierra. I can taste the steak as I write this and my mouth is watering. For dessert we did We had a chocolate dessert that was great but can't recall the name of it (see pictures). Top to bottom this place was great. It is located in a strip mall however I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Service was fantastic. I would say you 100% need a reservation as I don't think I saw anyone "walk in".More

...but you must absolutely go. The mushroom Chiveche is awesome, as is the rest of the food. Service is wonderful. If you’re a foodie and going to St. Augustine, you must try this place.

Outstanding service and a fabulous menu. Quaint and personal. One of our favorite places to visit. We had the potato pancake appetizer which was my first time eating octopus. I survived! My husband had paiche which is a fish cooked in banana leaves. I had...the squash stew which was fantastic as well. For dessert we had the first and fourth choice. First, a custard with spun sugar on top. The fourth was an ice cream with strawberry preserves. Come hungry and enjoy!More

The food was really good. There is no liquor, only beer and wine. The place is very small so it is best to make a reservation. The mushroom ceviche was surprisingly stellar. Excellent service.

My friend and I enjoyed several dishes together. Reservations are a must (do note that some tables are fairly close together if you haven't been vaccinated or are nervous about this kind of thing). We enjoyed the beautifully presented 'Anticuchos" which were unveiled at the...table by lifting a long glass vase full of smoke. They were placed inside a disc of corn and two slices of potato underneath. Delicious! We also split the Lima Ceviche, the Apaiche, and the Quinotto. I highly recommend both dishes. The fish was nice and light, and the Quinotto was rich, creamy, and very satisfying. We finished with the chocolate dessert and the creme brulee. The chocolate cake dessert was also innovatively served on a wooden log. Easily devoured. Would go back in a heart beat. The service by our Brazilian waiter was impeccable as well!More

Wife and I had the beef appetizer, salad, plantain wrapped fish and the steak and shrimp. Wife said her fish was the best she had ever tasted, the shrimp and steak had a great flavor but some of the steak was tough and hard to...cut with a knife. The service was outstanding.More
