Like other reviewers have said, you drive up to this place and think you need to turn around and leave. You walk in the door and the first thing you see is a bait and tackle shop. The menu is very limited. There were five...More

Thank you for the nice comments. We apologize for being out of a few things on our limited menu. I believe you caught us on the backside of a busy weekend. Freshness is a priority for us as a result we run tight on Sundays....More

Don't let first impression fool you !!! I got here because of hotel nearby suggestion. When I got here I was ready to turn around and scream at hotel front desk. I stayed, it was the right choice. Wonderful service, fantastic food and the view...More

The real thing: Old Florida. Magnificent setting. Fish camp and marina and cabins and restaurant - all in one! Top food - but, limited menu for seafood. Average, not-to-caring service. Rather pricey. Beer and wine only.

The outside dining area faces the water, beautiful. My husband and I had salads, very filing for dinner. Beer cold and delicious. Bill, our waiter was friendly and courteous. Highly recommend.

Being right on the lake made it a really cool atmosphere. The food and wait staff were fantastic, and the key lime pie is out of this world....

Limited menu, but freshly prepared and great flavor. Outdoor dining at sunset on the lake is a memorable experience. A sign out front says good food, lousy service, but we found both to be really good.

You have to experience it for yourself. Great location, top notch food and cold micro beer. The grouper was the best I ever had.

Stayed at the Holiday Inn and James recommended the place. You can set inside or outside. Still a little warm so we stayed in the AC. The bar is a boat with a top and the engine on one end. Seems to have a big...More

So sorry I did not see this question until now. The Whip is probably 8 miles or so south of I-10. The menu has steaks seafood, salads, etc. But it is the specials you want to look at closely. Who ever is in that kitchen... More
