Best blackened fish sandwich

I went with the intention of getting a burger, but when my waitress told me that they could blacken the red snapper for the sandwich, I changed my mind. I'd had the plain fish sandwich before, and it was good, but not special. The blackened red snapper was the best. Prices are a little high... read more

Our real estate team of twelve came in for a good time out and I was treated very rudely by the bar tender just because I Sat down at the bar before he wiped the area down. He was very hateful to us so we left. We are looking for a fun place to hang out and spend some money... More

On our way to central Florida from Michigan we always stop over in Quincy just to eat at The Whip. Menu was limited this past Monday night but the skirt steak was perfectly seasoned to the perfect temperature and the plantains were exceptional. My husband had the Grouper and was thrilled with it! It's a crazy bait shop at the... More

I have had the blue cheese burger with potato salad 3 times and it was great every time. The Low Country Boil on Fridays has been very good the 2 times I had it. I am usually there for lunch and the menu is limited, so I can't comment on the other items. Good view and nice outside seating over the... More

My husband got the classic hamburger all the way and I got the portabella burger with pesto and Swiss. Our sides were potato salad ( homemade ) EXCELLENT!!! The cook, waitress, and store clerk were very friendly and accommodating! We will definitely return!!!!

We ate here but I was not impressed with the food. The view was great and beer was cold. Would not go there for food again but would for a few beers.

My husband and I had raved to friends about the food at the Whip, so Sunday afternoon, October 18, 2015 we took them. They had ran completely of food.....even the hamburgers. The poor waitress was embarrassed, but it was not her fault. We had to settled for what they had left. My husband and our friend had five grilled shrimp... More

This place is surprising: The entrance is through the bait shop but don't let this fool you. There is good food here and not only that, good wines are to be had as well. My husband raved about his fish sandwich. I had the grilled grouper with green beans and risotto. While the risotto was a tad under-cooked, my dinner... More

Fun & casual place to go for a burger. Prices are not really bad, but not cheap eats. Potato salad is good. They have an extensive beer selection for those who like that. You can come by boat and tie up. They do have nightly specials.
