We've been here many, many times but this is the first time I've written a review. All the others in our party always order the lobster bites but I absolutely love the shrimp creole. It is perfect seasoned and filled with shrimp. We try to eat at "off" times (late lunch or early dinner) as it gets quite crowded during... More

Been stopping here for lunch for a couple of years. Staff is very friendly in this homey setting. Some seafood dishes are pricey. I highly recommend both the shrimp gumbo and the blue crabs. Pass on the crab cakes. They are disappointing. Otherwise, great fresh seafood is to be had.

The clams, oyster and shrimp platter was to die for. The whole platter was perfectly cooked and was Fresh, Fresh Fresh. Wine selection is slim. The key-lime pie will make your eyes roll back.

A late lunch in a very casual fish camp atmosphere. We dined outside under roof. The pounding of crab eaters beating shells into oblivion is annoying. I had $$$ stone crabs and they were small, not particularly meaty and not worth the price. My wife's grouper sandwich, however, was absolutely delicious - only$$ - but worth it! Good casual service.... More

Great little seafood restaurant and market. All local products. We had the 1/2 # shrimp and Crab cake special served with fresh corn on the cob and red potato. All were excellent. A bowl of seafood chowder was shared as an appetizer. It was chuck full of fish and shell fish. We will be going back to enjoy their stone... More

My father-in-law and I visit PRS every time I come to SWFL. We always opt for the all you can eat Blue Crab. Sometimes they have the blue crab with the back already taken off with a very nice garlic flavor. These are slightly easier to eat and quite flavorful with the garlic. The smoked mullet spread is good as... More

We took family there for dinner and as always had a great meal. We split an order of snow crab and was perfect size for an appetizer. We try to get there at least once a month in the winter when everything is so fresh.

Back for our semi annual visit to Peace River Seafood and it never disappoints. This is a true Florida Old Style cracker house abode. Our group had crab cakes, grouper sandwich platter and we had the Night at Whorehouse Point (steamed clams, oysters, jumbo shrimp). They serve a unique smoked mullet and crackers for a welcome (although they were out... More
