After a day at the camp site, didn't really want to go to swanky restaurant, but wanted some fresh seafood. Found this place. The wait was not too bad. Inside and outside seating available. It was the island theme and had dollar bills taped all...More

Food was awesome as always. Quirky atmosphere which I love. To die for key lime pie. One of our group walked away hungry from shrimp dinner because there was not enough!

Each of us had the crab cakes, which came with new potatoes and fresh corn on the cob. The crab cakes were absolutely delicious and more than ample. We especially enjoyed the complementary mullet dip/spread as an appetizer. Worth a visit for certain.

Lunch at Peace River Seafood just outside of Punta Gorda. Small lunch menu, mostly seafood and a cheeseburger. Seating inside or out. We shared a shrimp creole bowl. Wonderful shrimp, (perfectly cooked and large), andouille sausage, (not too spicy), okra and other veggies with rice....More

Came across this place by accident, was hungry and was looking for something different on my way through town. What a cool local gem! Great local seafood fare served in a classic old...um...structure with some outdoor deck seating. Nothing fancy here just a cool place...More

Fish was really good. There is seating indoors and outdoors. Very relaxed atmosphere. The place is pretty rundown but that adds to the atmosphere. We ate outside and what I assume is the owners cat was roaming around and eventually sat by us. Not too...More

We had a great time here, celebrating my wife's birthday. She had jumbo "Dog Leg Shrimp" and crispy fries. I ordered the Thornton Branch Gator Gumbo with Gator, shrimp, cajun sausage, and crab all served with saffron rice... and it was spicy hot and sooo...More

We enjoyed the day's special and the casual atmosphere. We offered to share our outdoor table with 3 travelers. Everyone's food seemed to be to their liking. This appears to be a hole-in-the wall on a travel day but it is definitely worth a stop....More

I thought the food was passable. Nothing that I expected from reading other reviews. The service was OK, but nothing special..

Sorry for the late info: Not sure. It's a seafood hut and crabs are their specialty. Crabs, crabs and more crabs. A couple of shrimp dishes and hamburgers for the non-seafood eaters. Wish their menu was more diverse.
