Had lunch-we were the only table. BUT if you like: -several wait staff that are rude, lazy and disrespectful with bad attitudes -cheap sour wines that’s $14-10/glass -expensive prices for mediocre dishes -nice atmosphere This is the restaurant for you! Good luck. (Crossed this place...off our list.)More

Many people have recommended this restaurant to us over the years. We live in the area and finally went there for lunch. Not impressed. Food was just OK, limited wine list, mediocre service and very pricey. There are so many good restaurants in SW FL...with much better value.More

This place was nice and cozy, but a little on the louder side, for a romantic, fine dining experience. Came here on my anniversary tonight. I absolutely loved my Thai inspired beef salad with peanut vinigarette! It was delightful! My husband got the crab cake,...but was not too impressed. The desserts were very rich (I got the 7 layer chocolate cake, but could only eat 3 bites!), and my husband got the carrot cake, but again, was not very impressed by its quality. Our server was great, as he kept our drinks full without us needing to request it. Overall, I would recommend this place to someone who wants to have a nice dinner out with a partner or friend. But I do not think that this will be my "go to" place. (¿Maybe I've been spoiled by Orlando's "Chatham's Restaurant"... I haven't found a place in SWFL that compares yet, but The Perfect Caper has its own highlights (comparing apples to oranges)! Good job, The Perfect Caper, keep up the great work!More

We have eaten and enjoyed Perfect Caper many many times that being said ...Things have changed. At Perfect Caper it is COVID 19 absurd. Temperature check and mask are required,, if you leave your table your mask must be on. Arrows on the floor, not...exactly the atmosphere for fine dinning. Trying to understand your waiter is difficult. I truly feel sorry for the staff. Service was wonderful, 14 oz. steak just so so, not up to their usual standard. I would recommend other restaurants at this time, sorry Caper!More

Made a reservation to meet a friend there because we were bored and sick of being housebound. Temperature taken upon arrival and although we just wanted a drink and small plate ( order the mushroom goat cheese with crostini) the service was excellent with the...staff wearing masks and clear shields. We even got small paper bags to store our masks while eating. Will be back.More

My husband and I were traveling back home to Naples from our daughter's track meet in Northport, and searched online for a nearby place to grab dinner before heading home. We were intrigued by the restaurant name and menu available online and decided to give...it a try. We were concerned as we got closer to the address as it was near a bail bonds and the sheriff's office, and pulling into the parking lot we were not sure we had made the right choice. Upon entering the restaurant we heard a few different people talking amongst themselves about the great dinner they just had. Well, we have to say, it ended up being one of the best meals we have ever had! We eat out often as we are both very busy, however, this was definitely an amazing meal......both of our dinners were beautifully crafted with a unique twist on some of the standards! After hearing that all their desserts were house made, we ordered two, and they DID NOT disappoint! In spite of the 50 minute drive, we will be back!!!More

We ate here after a couple of glowing recommendations. The food was incredible, as was the service. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys a great meal in a wonderful atmosphere. We will certainly return in the future!

Living in Sarasota, FL it is a bit of a hike to Punta Gorda, but it is the perfect location to meet friends more to the south: Fort Myers and Naples for example. That is exactly was my wife and I did on Tuesday for...dinner and Saturday for lunch. My goodness the food is varied, ample, high quality and complex. The Perfect Caper has a decent section of wine and other beverages. We had eight on Tuesday and six on Saturday. Take a look at the menu on the website. There are so many selections. On Saturday we arrived at 1:00 PM for lunch. Oh my goodness, there were four menus: regular and special brunch menus and regular and special dinner menu. The six of us ate from the Brunch Menu. Everyone was delighted with their meal. There is not as much pressure from patrons at brunch, but my friend overheard a call for a dinner reservation. On the same day (Saturday), you had your choice of 4:30 PM or 8:15 PM. Reserve early and enjoy a very pleasant meal. Chef Jeanie Roland once went head to head against Bobby Flay in August 2015. You can see what menu creativity can do for you. We will be back! It is a short trip when you know what is waiting for you.More

The menu had a wide assortment of dishes, most of them complex and fancied up. It you would have been nice to have some dishes that had food that did not need to be jived up. Prices were also on the high side, except for...my very reasonable curry mussels appetizer. This was excellent and definitely enough for a meal. My wife's (and friend's) fried chicken breast was not very tasty. Our other friend's short rib entree was pretty skimpy. Our server was inattentive. I don't understand where the high ratings come from, This is an OK place that we will not be going back to.More

I am sure they would allow you in. But it is a very upscale restaurant with prices that match. If it is your nature, you might not be comfortable.
