Last Saturday, made my fifth visit to Fernando’s. As always, surpasses expectations. The service is courteous and warm and the chef continues to oversee every nuance to create an evening that brings nothing but smiles. There’s cod—and then there’s cod cooked in the Portuguese style....Light, moist and its subtle taste blends perfectly with a high-grade olive oil. The octopus was tender and again like everything else, delicious. The sardines made me think of only two words, fresh and delicious. Do not miss out on the sangria. We had the white version and it’s bursting with flavor. Five stars!More

Due to the pandemic, we have not been out to eat often lately. However, we visited Fernando's last week and had a great experience eating outside. I had the steak Portuguese, absolutely delicious, my wife had the sea bass and loved it. Having just moved...to Port Saint Lucie from Jupiter, this will become a regular spot for us. Food and service was OUTSTANDING.More

Based on prior rave reviews, we tried Fernando’s. What a hit! Since it was endless covid summer we ate outside. All servers wore masks. Menus were one-time-use paper. Pleasant ambiance, but no real water view, so once virus is over, we’ll be back to enjoy...the charming, cozy inside dining. Service was perfect, attentive and informative, but with plenty of time to explore the extensive menu and provide suggestions. I had delicious salmon with crab topping; hubby had cod done to perfection. Sides were steaming hot red potatoes and crisp asparagus. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.More

Hurricane approaching , what do you do? We enjoyed a great meal, 5 star food and great service from our waiter James. Had the Rack of Lamb cooked to perfection and Mariscada ( Portuguese Seafood Stew). The Mussels were also awesome. Fernando came out and...introduced himself, great chef! Great price and nice portions, best kept secret on the Treasure Coast!More

The Dockside Grill is an unheard-of experience (to my brother and I who dined there twice last week)! Following two spring training baseball games, we had a one day visit to the Magic Kingdom planned and knew we would to have two meals somewhere in...the Disney World complex. We tried getting reservations ahead of time, but every place with "Fine Dining" seemed booked. So we just went over to Disney Springs which does not require a Park admittance. My eye had been on a waterside venue. We saw the Dockside Grill and went to the reception desk. It was about 6:30p. NO PROBLEM, would you prefer a table or one of our several bars? We chose a bar with the full menu and with fast service. Instant service indeed! With two of the pleasantest two staffers behind the bar. I ordered an Oysters Rockefeller which was the best Oysters Rockefeller I have ever had - anywhere. I followed that with a lobster roll for my main course - also among the tops. My brother had equally good meals, all served quickly, made with obviously the very best ingredients and ... moist important ... delicious. The meal was so good we decided to come back the next night – same thing all over again! All of this was in the middle of Spring Break Week (and just before they had to shut down for the Corona Virus). So there were lots of folks everywhere, but only superb food, and instant availability at the Dockside. (Note - we really were there. You can check for Adam and Cheryl, our bartenders, if you go yourself.)More

What a wonderful place to meet friends for a great meal. Fernando’s opened after we moved away from Port St. Lucie, so I was happy to see this highly rated restaurant to try. It is small but comfortable. The food was fantastic. My husband had...a salmon dish with crab on it and one of our friends had the other salmon. Both said they were very happy. I had Chilean Sea Bass which was wonderful. Definitely a place to return to when we go back for a visit.More

A pleasant change from the average Port St. Lucie dining experience: Lovely building, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the area. The food is very well prepared and the service is spot on. A new favorite!
