Staff and food made it our favorite place this spring break. The prime rib sandwich was so good my husband got it twice.

We thought the food was great. Service was fine. Tuna and snapper were decisions. We are going back for a second time tonight.

Provisions was one of our favorite places to dine 3 years ago when we last visited Port St. Joe, so this visit was quite the contrast. Unfriendly service complete with horrible food. We could not finish the lunch served and just left.

Definitely has taken a turn for the worst- lack of management is obvious- food was good and service good- no personality, sweeping the rugs and pulling the rugs in - basically time to go home at 0900 pm. Where are the owners? Used to be...a phenomenal place now just mediocre..More

Although "Provisions" never made it on our radar of places to visit initially, our search for a late breakfast was recommended by one of the other restaurants as the place for us to visit. And after the experience, we realize that they (the recommending restauranteurs)...were apparently eliminating the competition; not to dampen the staff yuks and giggles that had to have followed! Let's start with the service staff, of which our server not only provided "fly-by" attention (and service) but also was quick to present whatever -the dining customers- she thought wished to hear. As an example, when the side order of croissants was presented -where toasted bread appeared, our waitress said that what we were looking at was indeed croissant; that is until we pointed out to her that our other traveling companion had a croissant on her plate (and what that difference clearly was). THEN, a bit later, when paying for the bill, and having asked if they supported a military appreciation (discount), not that that was a make-or-break decision of anything relevant; however, when she mentioned that YES, they in-fact did allow for that, we assumed to simply continue on in finishing our breakfasts. When we got the check we noticed that there was no deduction noted on the bill; and, when asked, she stated "oh, we don't support that;" but never mentioned it throughout! Lastly, on numerous occasions, we had to call over a different server to assist in providing service at our table. Now, let's switch to the fare... Starting with the coffee, it stunk... tasting like hot water with grounds in it, and always having to request server attention to "refill the swill!" Also, my very tough order of eggs and potatoes ended up as simply eggs... And without even a clue of realization of her missed order fulfillment, she kept passing the table up until I -at some point- stopped her to ask where the rest of my order was, and to mention to her that my eggs were now totally cold. Did she offer replacement eggs... nope! This whole debacle took all of about twenty minutes in total. I should mention that this adventure would most assuredly have ended better were we served by ANYONE else; however, I blame management for NOT getting involved, NOT training their staff, and NOT (obviously) caring about their customers.More

My husband and I decided to do takeout for supper from here after I found on the internet and checked out their menu and reviews. He ordered the Saint Joe Sauté and I had the Chicken Picatta. Staff was friendly for ordering and pickup. Meals...were absolutely delicious! Very flavorful and tasty. Great ingredients. Would definitely be back if we were staying longer. Wish we had a place like this back home in Wisconsin. Hope to come back and eat at again!More
