Went to Skully’s tonight and had the 5lb boil and a pound of shrimp with my family. It is a laid back beach shrimp boil with a cooler full of free beers and sodas. If great fresh shrimp and free Keystone and Natty Lite is...not what you want keep driving, take a hard left after passing the restaurant and head into the Gulf of Mexico, and question all your life decisions. The purveyor of said establishment played some guitar in-between guests (and played it well) and no reservations are required for the picnic tables (as said purveyor informed an inquiring customer via a telephone call). Think the Dude from the Big Lebowski owns a beachside low country boil that should have 3 Michelin stars. The food was delicious and I can’t oversell the true awesomeness of the people and vibe. This location is the 8th wonder of the world and if you come to Cape San Blas and don’t go to Skully’s, you simply did it wrong and I feel sorry for you. Will be back to try the gumbo which was already sold out, because I assume it also will be a life changing experience that will confirm the existence of God. 6 out of 5 stars. I shall never again review another restaurant in fairness to them after having been to Skully’s.More

The gumbo here is the real deal!! The best I have ever had. The low country boil is delicious too. Paul the owner is a great guy who can pick a mean guitar. This is a great laid back place with delicious food! Order the...food and the drinks, including beer, come free with it. You don’t want to miss this one of a kind experience.More

We were referred to get Gumbo from Skully's by another local small business. Showed up and ordered our Gumbo only to find out that they are a cash only business. Well, we had no cash. When our order was ready, we were provided at no...charge! Needless to say, we went back on the next day they were open to pay...and order more. The GUMBO was incredible! Mild heat from spice but the flavor was perfect. I could eat this daily. If you are in the area, check it out. Just be careful pulling into the property. It's a little tricky.More

We stopped here our first night in the Port St Joe/Cape San Blas area since they are only open a few nights a week. We had a few free beers/sodas while we waited for our food. We got two orders of gumbo, which was soooo...good, filled with big pieces of shrimp and was so creamy and delicious. Also got the 10 pound bucket of shrimp boil - a huge bucket filled with fresh shrimp, potatoes, corn and sausage. Just an amazing meal. We took it back to our condo and ate it while having a fire on the beach. Couldn't have asked for a better night! Hope we can visit again someday.More

Do not think about a trip to CSB without enjoying a dinner from Skully’s! The Low Country Boil was delicious. I’ve eaten excellent Seafood Gumbo - at least I thought I had until I had Skully’s. By far the best! Skully’s delivers fresh and delicious...food with kind and friendly service. Call your take out ahead or enjoy a cold one while waiting for your food at the picnic tables.More

Great people - AMAZING food! We were welcomed and treated like family!!! They had a very laid back vibe, and we were offered free beer, Jell-O shots, and tequila shots. Staff and owner were totally genuine and friendly. Shrimp boil was one of the best...I’ve had. I wish I could give them 6 stars, haha!More

We visited Skully's on our recent visit and loved it. You may not, as it's not for everybody. First of all, you will eat outside at a picnic table. Also, you won't have silverware. And all of your food will come in a big bucket....Sound okay? Read on. Skully's food is wonderful. We went with the five-pound bucket, which included sausage, corn, potatoes, and a load of peel-and-eat shrimp. All of it was seasoned to perfection and served hot. We sat at our table and devoured every bite. While waiting for the food, we played cornhole and drank a beer. Skully's doesn't sell beer, but you can grab one , or a soda, to go with your meal. Also, Skully was playing his guitar and singing - he's pretty good, too! - before he prepared our food. This is not a sit down and be waited on place, and you won't find craft beer or a wine list. What you will find is a great meal in all it's simplicity and all it's glory in a relaxed, friendly setting.More

Shrimp was rubery and corn was tough. My husband liked it because while he waited he got a free beer.

Heard great things about Skully's. Your posted hours are not accurate and your phone message didn't reflect you were closed either the week of Sept 1-5. Very disappointed that your phone message, FB page did not state you wouldn't be open. Wasted trip.

The low country boil includes shrimp, potatoes, corn & sausage. The gumbo also has shrimp in it. These were the only items on the menu.

Only 3 items on menu...all contain shrimp. We got bucket that included shrimp, sausage, potatoes, and corn on cob. Not sure if owner would do that bucket minus shrimp...cannot hurt to ask😀

4 to 8 pm, but it might be good to call (850) 227-7011. He had cut back on help and hours due to scallop season being cancelled.
