I've been here about 4 times in past 2 years. I'm not a sushi eater, but my friend turned me on to this place. I don't like to eat raw fish because I have a bowel problem. But each time I've eaten here I've had no problems. I like the salmon teriyaki. My friend like all types of sushi. He... More

very very good quality food which would be deceiving because of its location. I don't eat sushi, but everyone in my party that ordered it was quite pleased!!!!!

Seems like sushi is served everywhere now, isn't it. Fine dining. Vietnamese Restaurants. Publix. Gas Stations. I heard that McDonald's was going to start carrying it. (not really). There are a few places in town, like Grille 54 and Thai Samurai, that offer *pretty good* sushi. These places have trendy options, like sirloin-wrapped and dipped in mayo- and they taste... More

We've been there a few times. It was close to where we live and food was more authentic than others. However, our last visit there was quite unpleasant. First, my uni didn't taste very fresh, probably because it wasn't a popular item in the area. Second, sashimi was too thinly sliced. Third, the server dipped her fingertips into my soup... More

We were in town for a few days and wanted sushi. Katzus did not disappoint. The sushi was very fresh, and the service was great. My only suggestion would be to add some outdoor lighting. The restaraunt is in a empty strip mall, and a little hard to find. It's a small place, and there may be a bit of... More

This place has the BEST sushi! We eat here on a regular basis. Kazu treats you like family from the minute you walk in the door. I may be tucked away in a near empty plaza but don't let that fool you. It is a gem!

This is the best place to go for authentic sushi prepared by a most capable sushi chef. There are no words to describe the culinary delights that you will experience.

Kazu's Sushi & Japanese Cuisine is one of the best! Tucked away in the mostly ghost-town shopping plaza next to Gulfview Mall, you will find Kazu's. It is a very small establishment, but do not let that fool you! Kazu and his staff are wonderful, and they have quite the loyal and consistent following, including my husband, and myself, and...
