Food took forever! Was decent when we did get it, over cooked. The servers should probably alert the guests sitting down on the sand by the water that their food will be coming from a food truck. We stopped here cuz the lady that we rented from, AirB&B, recommended this place. She was spot on. Don was our waiter/server, he was excellent! We went with another couple and the food was superb. Gator bites app was fabulous, big and meaty. Meal was...Jambalaya and it was flavorful and very savory. Beers were great as well. Don kept our drink glasses full, the food was served hot! First time visit to Whiskey Joe's and was a bit disappointed in the quality of the appetizers. Gator bites, and nachos both my favorite. The gator bites where very salty and a little on the tough side The nachos chips had the texture like they...were in the micro to long Wouldn't recommend the nachos or the gator bites Both my wife and I had Grouper sandwich She ordered it fried and I had my blackened. Not sure if it really was Grouper but both were ok fish and I’ll leave it at that. Price point was ok if it really was grouper but if it wasn’t then maybe a bit high Order a beer, came in a small glass, a bit disappointed in the size. Great vibes at this restaurant whether you sit outdoors or inside or on the sandy beach area. The service is excellent and the food is good. We were placed on an overhead platform outside with a trash can beneath us. When the food arrived after an interminable wait, the flies from the trash can arrived. No one else was bothered. When we realized a trash can was below us, we asked...it to be moved and it was, but an uncovered trash can near the dining area is probably a health hazard. One of our party could not eat her dinner because we had a two year old at the table and we were chasing away flies so we asked two people for boxes but they never arrived. One of us had to go to the bar to get boxes. The waitress understood we had a two year old and needed quicker service but the drinks and food were very slow in coming. I had to go to the bar and request the check. All in all, a very bad experience.More

The best most friendliest bar we have ever been to wait in our 60s and we've been to a lot this one stands out above all the rest, it sets on the beach channel of the ocean on the west coast of Florida, even in...the hottest month of July it was constantly a breeze they have fans in every corner of the Tiki Hut so you always feel a breeze the bartenders and the waitresses were fast and efficient I felt sorry for them because they had to run clear up stairs to bring down our food they were ever so friendly and pleasing oh, the bar stools for easy to sit on and get on not to mention allowing our puppy on site at the bar but they're not allowed on the beach which is understandable but it's a dog friendly Town everywhere oh, we plan to move to New Port Richey, you have to try their barbecue pork ribs get one full order it's enough for two you'll love them then they give you a bucket of beer 5413 on ice and they make sure the ice is ever readyMore

We stopped in for an early dinner on a Tuesday. Our server, Kristen, was super friendly and very attentive. Our party of 4 ordered fish & chips, whiskey burger, mango habanero wings, and a pepperoni pizza. Everything was excellent!
