This was a great lunch place and the locals know it. The food was great with an extensive menu. Our server was really good as well.

My husband and I often take our daily walk/run at lunch or dinner time, and pass by Rossi's Side Street Cafe in Port Orange, and every time our mouths water because it smells SO great... so we've been saying we need to go to dinner...there sometime. We've had breakfast there 1,000 times before and it is always amazing... and omg dinner was just as good! We all got burgers (different ways) they were so good, cooked to order, and HUGE. My son and I both took home leftovers. We saw other dinners around us and everything looked great; we can't wait to return soon and try other things! Good prices and great service too. I only got a quick photo of my burger. 😋More
I had previously eaten breakfast here and when I did I had asked for basted eggs. They told me that basted eggs were only available on Sundays. So we went back on a Sunday and I ordered basted eggs to go with my pancakes. The...server said he was not sure what they were. So I explained how you make basted eggs and that I had been told that I needed to order on Sundays to get them. (For those of you unaware of what basted eggs are, you start by making a sunny side up egg. When the whites are almost set, you add some hot tap water and a lid. The steam created from the water surrounds the yolk and cooks the goopy layer.) My significant other ordered their Country Fried Steak and chicken. She does not eat pork. However, when her breakfast showed up it had sausage gravy over it. We then had to have a discussion about the fact that it does not say that on the menu and he indicated that since it says Country Fried Chicken we should have known that it came with Sausage Gravy. ??????? Not sure about that connection... He did replace her plate of food. Back to my eggs. When they arrived they were sunny side and I was informed that the "kitchen did not have time" to make my basted eggs. When I mentioned it at the register she basically blew me off. It did not surprise me since when we checked in for our 30 minute wait, she was not very congenial. I guess they were too busy! Too busy for us to go back.... Tim's Corner Restaurant has alway treated us well and we will be there instead! Type are usually busy but always polite! GaryMore
Food was outstanding and the total for lunch (2 people) was 16 bucks! Good variety and friendly service. We would grab lunch here anytime we are in the area.
Great quick lunch at a local cafe. They serve breakfast, lunch and now open for dinner a few nights a week. Local cafe that stays steady during breakfast and lunch. They have a variety of sandwiches on the menu. I had a chicken and pesto...sandwich today and added tomato. Good lunch. Staff are quick and efficient but not very friendly.More
Best food at a great price right in our neighborhood. Chefs are amazing, the staff are so friendly. This is our once a week stop for dinner!
We attended a closed function at Rossi's Cafe last night and were imminently impressed by the food, atmosphere and friendly staff. Hunter's in Deland, our staple since the 1970's closed for good 3 days ago and Rossi's will be an able replacement. Even though we...had a buffet the food could not be improved. The chicken Parmesan was equal the the best we have had and the meatloaf with ham inside was delicious. Their salad was wonderful and the dressings were so good they should bottle them for retail sale. Anna, our server, went beyond our expectations in every way to make our visit delightful. We will be back even though it is 45 minute drive. If you do not try this restaurant it will be your mistake.More
We visited with friends for the first time. The restaurant was very busy so that’s a great sign that it’s good food and service. And I was right. We were sat right away, we were offered drinks before I could even get seated! The menu...is a wide range for great pickings for your breakfast. I had the 2 egg breakfast with bacon and home fries (real potatoes) which is awesome! My husband had the meat lovers breakfast bowl! It was amazing! Packed full of food and flavour! No matter who your server is, they are not shy about coming around with the coffee pot! We finished our meals and sat for a bit and drank a bit more coffee and conversation - we were never rushed or felt rushed to leave. A great environment for food, service and feeling like home! We certainly will be back!More
OMG, get their "Big R Fish Sandwich"! Hands down the best fish sandwich I've had in my entire life. And it's at a diner! It's the way the owner's brother prepares that fish. It's fried flounder on an awesome sub roll with tomato and lettuce,...and you can add tartar sauce which I did. My mouth is watering. I want another one of those sandwiches tomorrow. Go and get you one, you can thank me later! :)More
This place rocks! Everything, and I mean everything is great! Lena and Jacob do a fantastic job at this restaurant and you'd be hard pressed to find a comparable place that hits everything out of the park! You won't be disappointed! Stop by for breakfast...or lunch! It's heaven floating right above the plate!More

We went there for lunch this week. EXCELLENT!! We had the patty melt, fish fillet on a pretzel roll, reuben. ALL sandwiches were great. The service was wonderful and the price could not be beat.

My wife and I had takeout lunch here last week. She had a Rueben and I had a simple fish sandwich and small Greek salad. My wife wished they had used marbled rye but enjoyed it none the less. My fish sandwich was monstous! It...had 3 large pieces of white fish piled so high you could barely get your mouth around it. I took one piece out and ate it with a fork. Really good. It was so big I could nit eat the Greek salad which we split the next dayMore
I just discovered Rossi's 2 weeks ago, and have already been there twice. The food was incredible, the portions were large, the price was right, the service was friendly, and I loved the snackbar seating (they have tables as well). I had a vegetarian omelet...with feta, home fries (with skins on), buttered biscuit, and coffee. Liked it so well I had it again on my second visit. Plan to also have it on my third. Lol Highly recommended.More
