We are a seafood restaurant with a flair for sports. We are know for our Maine lobster roll, all lobster no fillers... Fresh fish served daily, oysters, clams shrimp, snow crab, king crab, yum. If your taste is from the land try one of our to sirloin steaks, prime rib, chicken and fall off the bone bbq ribs. Or how 'bout chicken wings, appetizers, or handcrafted burgers. All this in a casual sports atmosphere. Full liquor bar, 24 craft beers on tap to wash that meal down. Watch your favorite sport on one of our 29 TV's, NFL package for Sunday fun, Happy hour daily 2-7pm!!!!

Came here on a whim due to great reviews from a different app about their Gluten free menu, highly impressed. The thing that stuck out was the owner Chris. There was a mistake with our salad and he personally made sure the items where made correctly. His knowledge of difference for celiac and gluten free by choice was another bonus. Alicia, our server, was training someone and showed great patience and they both ensured that we had all the items we needed. Great food, great service and a friendly atmosphere. Definitely worth the drive to dine again.

This restaurant is phenomenal adding even more great gluten free basic foods to the menu. Further the kitchen will rock your meal and keep gluten out where it does not belong. Dedicated fryer. Multiple choices for celiac. But....the Perfecto is the servers who go extra distance to make your meal great. Diana waited on us twice and was so pleasant during our meal and delivered every special request we needed. This is the place in Daytona Area for gluten free food when you have definite allergy as a celiac. Thanks to the owner who has time to stop by your table and say hello.

Food was excellent (fish & chips) but there was a drawback: A "convenience fee" of 3.5% was tacked onto the bill. On the way out (that is, on the inside of the door so you see it on the way out,)there is a notice about the convenience fee. We saw no notice going in nor did our otherwise excellent service person tell us anything about it. Today we went to Lost Lagoon in New Smyrna beach; excellent food, no tacked on fee. I understand the fee, given what the banks/credit card business soaks businesses for but we should be notified in advance, not discover it by accident afterwards. Great fish and chips at another restaurant last week, no fee, etc. Conclusion about where to go and not go in the future is sort of obvious.

We totally appreciate your response! And we understand that customers do not like paying the convenience fee, and neither do we! With that being said, their are signs in about five places of our restaurant, that explain that we have a convenience fee, and our next menu has it on the bottom about, ask about our convenience fee! good to talk about glad that you enjoyed our food service and experience but somehow us as owners need to find a way to make a living … Chris

This was not our first choice, but our other preferences were closed on Tuesday. We were so lucky they they were. The service was great...Jeff was outstanding. The large selection of beers/ales/ciders on tap made the choice of brew difficult. All of the fish tasted like fresh off the boat and of course the teen boy devoured the burger before the rest had three bites. The music delighted the 45 to 55 year olds, who reminisced about concerts they attended and musicians they liked. Moral of the story: don't discount your second or third or even fourth choices! We have often found them to be pearls of great price.

Such a nice and welcoming place. Family came from NY & we stopped here for some food. We were greeted by the Owner- Chris, who was very personable & even sat with us to review the options on the menu. We were served by Alex, another wonderful addition to our dinning experience. Food was fresh, hot and delicious.

While visiting the area we were hoping to find lobster rolls for dinner and when we googled the term McKennas popped up and had great reviews.
Upon entering the restaurant there was no mistaking this was a popular spot. The staff was very friendly, the menu had multiple choices in various types of food. My wife and I each ordered the lobster rolls which came out very quickly and oh my they were delicious! Looking forward to going back on a future trip!!

Service from Gina was wonderful. She explained all the differences in various dishes we wanted to try and guided us accordingly. Very friendly, family oriented dining room, as well as a lively bar and sports tv section. Chris, the owner, always stops by up chat and Check on us. Thanks again for another great dining experience.

We got off to a bit of a rocky start, but I'm still giving a 5 star rating. I reached out via email early in the day to see if it was possible to make reservations. I received a prompt response from Chris McKenna, letting me know they do call ahead. It was our daughter's birthday, so we were happy to know that service was available since it usually cuts down on wait time. Called at 6 for 6:30 and was told we were set. The rough start happened when arrived. We were told there was a 20 minute wait, and it appeared whoever took my call got distracted and forgot to write down our call ahead. Not a huge problem, it's Florida in season so waiting is common. The greeter did appear flustered, but was very apologetic. We found out later there was some drama in the kitchen, but this didn't affect us after we were seated. Trinity was our server, and even with what was going on behind the scenes, she was friendly and efficient. Drinks came out quickly, followed by appetizers (cheese curds, potato skins and fish dip, all yummy!). We also had French onion and clam chowder soups, and several of the entrees. All were good, most notable was the lobster roll! All the staff, including food runners did an excellent job.

I remember the night like it was yesterday because the Internet was out for an hour and a half before your party of seven arrived and we are Internet-based business which made our life very difficult for that period of time, but I have some really good employees, and we survived and thrived! Exceptional experience.
Server (Dianna M) was fantastic: friendly, knowledgeable and attentive.
Atmosphere was inviting and comfortable.
Only suggestion would be for crab cakes to be served hotter (not a deal breaker). They were still delicious.

Such an amazing experience! The atmosphere was great and Gina was so helpful. They offer tours of the kitchen and have a completely separate area and utensils for all things gluten free. We got the potoato skins, shrimp Alfredo, and a gluten free Reese’s pie. I highly recommend this restaurant!

My wife and I ventured out and tried this restaurant for lunch the other day after seeing what was the #1 rated place in Port Orange and we were not disappointed!
We started with an appetizer of Buffalo chicken dip with warm pita chips and they were very good. How that they prepared the pita chips were some of the best that we have ever had.
We both had lobster rolls and I got the large (8 oz meat) and my wife got the small (4 oz meat). We got them warm and they are served on a toasted split bun with drawn butter on the side. The lobster rolls were so delish. They are pricey but worth it. I got the frizzled onions as my side and my wife got the Irish potato cake and we really enjoyed both.
It was a beautiful October fall day with a moderate temperature and low humidity so we say outside. I did look around inside and there are a ton of TVs so a good place to watch sports too.
We will definitely be back.

Stopped here while visiting my parents. Picked this place because they said they have GF options, which my wife needs. The food was great. The service, (thanks Tia Maria!) was awesome. The owner himself came by to check on us. My wife got the GF fries she was craving without fear of cross contamination. We will definitely come back next time we visit. Good portions, fair prices.

Bryan, we get so excited when people that have a gluten-free allergy, especially when there’re celiac, which we really take care of at Mckennas Place PORT in ORANGE! Are gluten-free menu and gluten free french fry fryer has put a lot of people in our Restaurant we greatly appreciate that, and were more than happy to take care of the Gluten Free community!

Went for lunch today with my wife. I had the Tuesday special, meat loaf and mashed potatoes while my wife enjoyed the lobster roll. Both meals were excellent,as was the pretzel sticks we had as our appetizer. Our meal was great and our waitress, Gina, was fantastic,welcoming, warm, helpful and fun. She even introduced me to Coke Zero rather than my usual Diet Coke and Zero was the winner! We definitely will return soon.

We visited to get a quick sandwich. I was thinking about liver and onions since it was so good on our last visit but the meatball hoagie was the Sunday special for 9.99. Tomorrow the liver is the daily special and I plan on returning. My wife had the stripped down version of the Philadelphia cheese steak, no cheese and no mushrooms (how sad). We were both very satisfied with our meals and our service from Mike.

First off, if you have a family member who's celiac, this is the place to go. We saw the five heart reviews on find me gluten free and knew we were in good hands, but Chris showed our son the kitchen and protocols in place anyway. Gina was incredible -- very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. The food was great and we just wish we lived in the area to be able to visit more often.
