Miles was our waiter and he was the best. He was polite, attentive and has the best personality. His suggestions were spot on. The food was great but if you can request Miles as your waiter, you will not be disappointed.

We were staying at the nice motel next door and went by for a night cap, not expecting to walk into a jazz club with such great music! The bar, the food, the music -- all first rate. Everyone who worked there was very gracious...and hospitable. This place is worth coming back to.More

My husband and I ordered the Ahi Tuna "Martini" (served in a martini glass), which was very tasty, but the accompanying wonton chips were stale. Crusty bread with seasoned oil/vinegar for dipping was delicious. We then split a ribeye special and ordered it medium rare....It was seasoned nicely, but was delivered well-done. The friendly bartender of course offered to have another steak prepared (we declined and took the majority home for our dog). The custard in our creme brulee was overly sweet and the eggs were extremely overcooked. For the price we paid (tuna was over $17 and steak was over $50), we would have expected something a bit closer to awesome. The live jazz was lovely, and the atmosphere was very nice (except for the three bored waitstaff standing behind us for our first 20 minutes chatting away as if they were at a party). We may give this restaurant another try in the future, but it will probably be awhile before we take the chance again.More

We just found this fabulous restaurant! Had a wonderful lunch - the food was excellent and the service was top notch! Taylor went above and beyond the standard service. She appeared to be the only server on the floor and she handled it with ease!...We are looking forward to having dinner and enjoying the live music! We highly recommend The Grill at 1951!!!More

At first, when we walked in we felt out of place because it’s an older crowd. But, the atmosphere was great! Music was good, decorations were delightful and the food…….. AMAZING!!! The chef was out walking around a bit and I spoke to him briefly....He said he’s only been there a month and has plans to add all kinds of new menu items that sounds amazing too!! Our waitress, April was fantastic and very attentive. All around a wonderful experience. Highly recommendMore

Went last night to celebrate our 24th Anniversary and had a fabulous time!!! There was a balloon on our table and the staff made us feel super special! The food was absolutely amazing (as always) and the waitress "Taylor" who is a 5-star trained professional...- was always there to make sure our glasses were full of champagne and to make sure everything was perfect. AND IT WAS. If you want the read deal, go to THE GRILL (it is directly across 41 -going south- from Loew's Hardware, you can't miss it - turn right into the byway at the light or you'll miss it).More

After overlooking this Restaurant for years based on what it used to be and reputation, we went on a neighbors recommendation with them and we were so pleasantly surprised with the ambience, food, service and wine list. Went back again last week with a party...of seven for a birthday celebration and we were wowed once more. Everyone said their dinners were great, some American, some Seafood, and some Italian. Great experience at The Grill at 1951! The feel of the restaurant was comfy but classy! Our server, Miles, was top notch…best of our entire season here! The food was delicious and the music/entertainment was very good! Really had an amazing time for our first...visit. Our friends that took us knew it would be great because it was not their first time there and it did not disappoint them at all!! We all plan to return—soon! Cannot wait!!!More
