Both my wife and friends have frequented Smokin' Aces several times. Always enjoy the atmosphere and the food! Quality and service are consistent. Have met one of the owners, Robby and one of the cook's, Lloyd, who doubled as a server the last time we dined. The dining room has been remodeled with booths replacing the tables and chairs located along the windows. A Dale Earnhardt. Jr. Collectible Donation was made and they are prominently displayed above the windows! Plans to remodel the outdoor patio area are is in the works to allow more patrons the opportunity to dine outside. Nancy, Taylor & Becca are servers that are frequently taking care of their guests orders and making sure their food is promptly served and drinks topped off! No liquor license yet, but beer and wine are served for those who like to imbibe. If you're passing through the Plant City area, Smokin' Aces is located at the North end of the Park Rd. exit across from Stingray Chevrolet! Give them a try and you won't be disappointed! Military, Educator and Law Enforcement 10% Discounts available upon request. Try the dry rubbed King's Wings, onion rings or the Catfish fillets!

Smokin aces is a must-visit for BBQ lovers! The ribs are cooked to perfection, the award winning BBQ sauce is delicious, and the staff is friendly and the owner even came out to the dinning room to greet all the guests! Truly an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!

Awesome waitress Jenny..I had brisket wings and ribs with collard greens and green beans everything was delicious. I've eaten here many times over the years and always come back so that should tell you something..the owner also checks on me when he's there that makes me feel appreciated. Highly recommend.

We were visiting family in the area and chose it because it had the best outdoor seating and vegetarian options in the area (kind of ironic I know). The servers were friendly and welcoming, and the chef/owner came out and answered all our questions about BBQ. They were accommodating and were able to make mushroom sandwiches (not on the menu) for the two vegetarians in the group and the other two got a cheeseburger and the blackened grouper melt all of which were delicious! The award winning BBQ sauce was excellent too.
Would definitely come back if we’re in the area again.

5 stars for our lunch today. Smokin’ Aces BBQ and Steakhouse has just became my new favorite BBQ place. Between the 3 of us, We had pulled pork sandwiches, brisket sandwich, extra crispy fries , baked beans, collard greens and I had a water with lemon. Sandwiches were great, everything was nice and hot, the pork was tasty and the sauce was good, fries were seasoned, crunchy and piping hot, collards were really good, my husband liked that there was meat in with them, and the beans…my son said were better than Johnson’s and I didn’t hesitate to agree with him, I mentioned I had water because the water actually tasted good. I’m sure you have been to a restaurant and the water didn’t taste good, my water actually tasted good. The walls are decorated with photos of history around the area which I love to look at. Occasionally we make a drive (45 min) to Plant City to Johnson’s for BBQ, We will now be making this our new drive to BBQ when out for a drive.

Ok I am not a bbq expert but I do know what good food taste likes.
OMG the bbq was amazing. We tried the pulled pork, pubs, brisket and sausage links. All were so good and so darn cheap. A 4 meat player was only $23 and craft pints $4.5

Traveler beware! Would not go back!! Second visit and too many things to mention were not acceptable. Over priced for the dishes we received. 5 of us ordered and bill was over $120 w/tip. The onion rings were over cooked twice and way too greasy. The sweet potato fries were cold. The chicken was rubbery. The C.A.B. sandwich was very fatty although ordered lean with not one full cut of brisket. The only good entry was the Ribs. Service was good so we did leave her a good tip. It rained hard before we left the restaurant and had to wade thru a large puddle just in front of the exit. They need to level or fix that soon as it rains often in central Florida.

This was a hidden gem that we found after my sons soccer tournament down the road! It was amazing! The staff was great and the owner walked around the restaurant making sure people were enjoying there food. Also, ribs and wings were outstanding.

We dined here for the first time today. Krysta, our server, was awesome. She was attentive, informative and always smiling! The food was great. Three of us had fried green tomatoes (best I have tasted in a long time), wings, brisket, smoked sausage and pulled pork. Everything tasted good. The sides, sweet potato fries, green beans, hush puppies, okra and collard greens were all enjoyed too. We will be going back!

We eat at Smoking Aces all the time. The food is cooked to order and amazing and the collard greens are always on point. Although the food takes a little bit to come out it never disappoints. The waitresses are always smiling and the music is always hoping. I always tweek my meal and they always get it 100% correct. I will forever eat here as they have become family. Try it out and you'll thank me.

This was our first visit, and the restaurant lived up to the high ratings. We got two two-meat platters which included brisket, pulled pork, ribs, okra, and baked beans. Everything was great & soooo tender & full of flavor. I like BBQ sauce but used very little because the flavor as served was killer. Service was fantastic. We were there about 4pm & they were very busy the whole time.

We were a party of six from Texas and we dined here for lunch. Two of us had brisket plates, three hamburger plates and one a rib plate. Since we are from Texas we have high standards for barbecue but I can truthfully say that the brisket plates were the worst we have ever had, and I don’t believe it was due to our standards for barbecue. We patronized this restaurant because the reviews were very good. This definitely was not our opinion after eating lunch here. Even the side dishes (green beans, fries) were not good. I have no idea what the others giving rave reviews found to be great, but our party was thoroughly disappointed in all of our dishes, even the burgers.

Amazing BBQ. I love Sonny's BBQ so when I found this little gem, I was Satisfied. Right s are fall off the Bone tender and seasoned perfectly. The Smoked Wings are well seasoned and tender. Collard Greens are like Grandma used to make them. French Fries are perfectly cooked with the Crispy exterior and creamy middle. No ketchup necessary. This is some AMAZING BBQ !!

My husband, son, and I ate here on our vacation. We’re not local to the area (or even the state), but we love to give our business to independent restaurants when we travel, and it’s always fun to find the places that really represent the area we’re visiting.
My husband loves good barbecue, and my son really wanted ribs, so while doing our research on activities in the area, we knew we wanted to stop in for lunch there. We got there around two, well after any lunch rush, and felt immediately that we were in for some great food. (It’s not a big place, and not immediately close to much else, but we were reminded of another favorite BBQ restaurant in NC that we’ve visited, and got similar vibes as we pulled into the parking lot.) We were greeted and shown to a table right away, our server (Scarlet) got us drinks and allowed us time to figure out what we wanted. She brought out our food and checked on us to make sure we were good without hovering. When we were finishing up, the owner, who was charming and gracious, came out to introduce himself and make sure we were happy with our food.
My husband had a sampler, and tried the pulled pork and brisket. My son had the rib platter, and I picked the fried catfish. The sides (greens, coleslaw, BBQ beans, Mac and cheese, garlic mashed potatoes, fried green tomatoes) were every bit as amazing as the entrees. It’s easy to see how their house made barbecue sauce and ribs have won awards.
We left with incredibly full stomachs, big smiles on our faces, and a jar of their award-winning BBQ sauce to take home. If we ever find ourselves back in the area, we know where we’ll be having a meal. Thanks, again, to everyone who made our experience so great!

Went to lunch today with my mom, sister and son at Smokin Aces BBQ in Plant City. Great food and great staff. Our server Jenny was absolutely the best. AmWe also enjoyed talking with Lydia the manager. The food was delicious. We had pulled pork, fried shrimp, a burger, and I also ordered ribs and more pulled pork to take home. I highly recommend this family run business. Everyone was super friendly and the food was great.
