Be hungry & thirsty when you go. Many, many excellent beer choices & the portions are large. Boudin is excellent. Jambalaya & e'touffee' are very good & very filling. The best seating is outside if the heat allows. The setting is great back in the "bayou". Dixie & other southern beers are available as well as many beers from around... More

Four of us dined outside and enjoyed our meals. We had the onion strings and they are super greasy. We all enjoyed our meals and would go back.

You will like if you are fond of cajun food. I sat outside, under a roof, on a channel of water. The food was good and there was quite a bit of variety if you like spicy cajun food. There were other options for people who prefer non-spicy food.

We've been to Cajun Cafe on the Bayou quite a few times and have never been disappointed with our meal. This is one of the rare places that actually makes their spicy food spicy. Be sure to save room for some bread pudding, too. I'm not particularly a bread pudding fan, but theirs is excellent.

The food is great and cajun spicy. The atmosphere is fun and friendly. You can dine outside and you feel you are on the bayou. Fun experience and loved the food

The atmosphere was intimate and very much like somewhere on the bayou. The food was amazing and the spices were surely cajun. It is not for those who are sensitive spices. I love the oysters, shrimp and the gator tail! I will be back the host was very nice also I wish I would have caught his name. It's a... More

They have a good beer selection, and all the food we had was very good- Boudin Balls, Jambalaya, Soft Shell Crabs. We enjoyed it all. I liked all of the NOLA flair they had too. We will return!

It seems to always be crowded, but when we finally got in to try the food, it was not as expected. The was very little taste. The sausage seemed dry with no taste. The rice had very little spice or seasoning. The corn bread was aweful, especially when you pay handsomely for it. I don't know if it was an... More

It was my mothers first Cajun experience and she loved every bite. The whiskey bread pudding is a must. The wait staff was attentive and truly understood the menu

The other night, I wanted boiled crawfish so I decided to head back to Cajun Cafe. I have a love-hate relationship with the place, but I had an envie -- craving -- for crawfish. The dish was advertised as 2 pounds, with corn and potato, and I had problems with everything. First, the crawfish was OK, but tasted a bit... More
