My wife and I (plus 2 friends) went to The Crab Trap for an early dinner on Feb. 3/16. We were promptly seated at a nice table by the windows. Our server was Hunter, who gave us fast and friendly service. I had the Baked Grouper with coleslaw and greens ($15.99) and my wife had the 8oz sirloin steak with... More

Had lunch ~ quite yummy. Tyler is the best ! We live walking distance, so we love that! It was one of the first places we had a meal after moving to the area in August. Our waiter, Tyler, had just moved here from DC area as well. So we had lots to talk about and share :)

The food was good but service was slow...getting seated as well as someone taking your order. When we arrived there were 4 tables and had to wait for waitstaff to come to our table.

We ate there Monday evening about 8 PM. There was not very many customers there. When we left there was only one table left eating. My wife and I both ordered the snapper and shrimp fried and there were only 4 shrimp. Both the shrimp and the two snapper pieces were overcooked. The fish was almost burned and this is... More

Had a lovely meal here. Some of us had the shrimps with hush puppies and collards, real authentic southern food. One of their signature dishes is nearly free (less than 50 cents) bowl of gumbo with crackers to start - this was delicious on a cold evening. Service was very friendly and our meal good value.
