The wait was short and the food was good. The waitress was great, I think her name was Taylor! If you are driving through give it a try.

Delicious everything! Ribs, pulled pork, fried corn on the cob, garlic bread and cole slaw. Wouldn’t change a thing. Best BBQ yet in Pensacola! Lived here 4 years, now have another great place to eat. 😀

They were busy but still got us seated quick but we waited a bit for the server to take our order. However she was very busy, but she got our order in and we got served out food within 15 min. of her taking the...order. Very good food really good sized portions and everything tasted good. Will return again if in the area again.More

We have always stopped by their drive-thru for a quart or two of their famous baked beans. We decided to go on in for a sit down meal. I wasn’t feeling traditional bbq meat and went for a burger instead with my baked beans. It...hit the spot! My husband had sliced pork and he said it was good. My dad had the stew that was on special and said it was good too. The service was great! If you are looking for something fancy, this isn’t it. But more importantly, if you are looking for yummy, this is it. We will definitely be back sooner than later!More

Relaxed atmosphere, great efficient service from Lindsey. We were not real hungry and shared the super combo...4 meats ..we chose chicken, turkey, pork and ribs ..with green beans and slaw as sides. The ribs and the smoked turkey were tops. Both sides were very tasty....7 or 8 /10More

The only smoke in this bbq restaurant is in the name - no appetizing smokey aroma when you walk in. The lack of smoke was was evidenced in the flavor of the meat. The ribs were relatively tender and fairly moist but lacking any taste...of smoke. Service was decent. Sides were okay but not outstanding.More

This establishment is a local staple of this area.It has real pit Bar-B-Que and the sides are delicious and homemade. The staff are efficient and friendly and the crowds are very large for lunch everyday. The Highway Patrol and Deputy Sheriffs frequent everyday.

While there are a few different barbecue restaurants in Pensacola Smokies is the place to be on highway 29. The service is always excellent, fast, and very courteous and you will get your food fast! I have been eating here for several years and for...the first time I tried a hamburger today and wow! It was great!More

Locals will tell you that this is the go-to place for smoked BBQ! There is one sure fire way to tell how good this restaurant is--all of the law enforcement and first responders eat here! I like to go here for lunch. The atmosphere is...casual. Usually you seat yourself. All of the tables are picnic style with benches. Though it is usually busy, there is almost always a free table. The waitresses are very friendly and efficient. You rarely have to wait long for food. I recommend the pulled pork. Other standout menu items are the iced tea, garlic bread, finely chopped creamy cole slaw, and baked beans. This is a great place to relax in a casual atmosphere for lunch with scrumptious food. You can't go wrong at Smokey's!More
