Seriously, if you want authentic Mexican food...this is the best place to go! And their prices are so affordable. Don't let the location be deceiving. The staff is very friendly; the food is fresh and delicious, and many people would vouch for this place (even native Mexicans)

I’ve lived close by for 4 years and never tried it. Got 9 tacos: 3 steak supreme, 3 regular steak, 3 chicken. Pretty good flavor. Chicken was a little dry. Salsa is excellent. The sauces everyone raves about ... maybe I caught it on a bad day? The green sauce was almost hot (temperature wise) and had a sour taste. The meat was skimpy on the taco supremes but the steak had good flavor. Getting in and out isn’t easy, but I can see why it’s so popular. Not sure if I’d rank it top 4 taco stands in the country, but I’ll go back to try other items.

Heard about this place from a friend but was skeptical as it was not a typical restaurant. You order from a food trailer and seating is all under tents. The line was long when I arrived and the food was without a doubt worth the wait. I had 8 tacos, each with different meats and I have to say that these are some of the best that I have ever had! I grew up in Southern California and these are definitely authentic.

On our visit to Pensacola we wanted to eat tacos and TaquerĂa El Asador was recomended to us. El Asador is located behind Shell gas station. The line was long, but in less than 10 minutes we ordered. The food was Great....Service was excellent.... Even the Owner Rive Garcia took some time to talk to us.

Cannot recommend this place enough. It’s a sketchy looking food truck behind a gas station, yes. The first time I saw it I was like really? … YES REALLY! Amazingly delicious food, very reasonable prices, fast service, and it’s very fun watching them cook in the back. If you’re in the Pensacola area and looking for Mexican food don’t waste your time going anywhere else.

My first and last experience ordering at this food.truck was utter disgust. It’s located behind a gas station where homeless people hang out and ask for money, the parking area is muddy if it rains, they provide ample seating to eat but it’s laced with flies. The service is immediate and the delivery is fast. The presentation upon opening my container in my car was sloppy. The tortillas appear to be wheat and lacked flavor. The beef and chicken were loaded with a spicy salty seasoning. The chorizo didn’t taste fresh. The cheese sauce was spicy yet watery. They offer 3 toppings. I wasted $5.00. Tijuana is more impressive than this hangout. If you like filth , flies, and subpar food then have at it. If they are so good as I was told then why not open a brick and mortar store? Probably because the health dept. would shut them down. They get 1 star for being tenacious and working hard while establishing a business.

This little hole in the wall was great!.. We had burritos and tacos and were't disappointed in either. Food was fresh and came quickly even though they were packed. It's hiding in the back of a gas station parking lot so if you don't know what you are looking for you'd drive right by it. They have all the traditional things you'd expect like tacos, burritos, tortas, horchata, so on.. Only reason they aren't getting 5 stars is the lack of jamaica..

My Son & his family live 2 blocks away. The food is excellent. always has been for us. You can get a brewski from the shell station too, and no-one cares if you drink it at the seating. This is a great value & great food. Location is easy to get into driving & the trees overhead are huge & ancient.

This place is legit. Authentic Mexican food. Grilled outdoors on giant grills. Food is fantastic. Service is in minutes. Price is reasonable. And portions are substantial. There is outdoor seating only. Parking is limited. If there is a line, don’t sweat it. The line moves quickly and is worth the wait.

The food was as excellent as the location was sketchy. I would eat here every night for a week!! We drove 40 minutes and it was well worth it. The tostado w chicken and the steak tacos were fresh and delicious. We didn’t mind sitting at folding tables under a shade cover in 97 degrees. The steak dinner is a must and service is fast and polite!!!

I was told this was ranked as one of the five best food trucks in America. While I don't consider it a food truck, it is definitely worth the visit. Great value for the prices. The serving sizes are huge and the food is delicious. The staff is very friendly also. Just be warned that one of the sauces is very hot, so be careful if spicy isn't your thing. Fortunately, the sauces are not put on the meals, but are available for you to add. Get there early, or be prepared to stand in line. They are quick, but they are very popular - and with good reason.

Dirt floor, in a trailer, behind a gas station and vacuum your car! What more could you ask for? Right? Well then probably you're gonna get the best street tacos and quesadillas ever made. Prices are outstanding and portions very good. I will say the burritos are a bit much and BIG. I personally like the campechano quesadilla...Muy Bien! Bon appetit!

This had started out as a food truck and now they are stationary. Always busy and the best taco's I have had in a long time. Their menu is short, the flavor is great and the service was wonderful. They had a very long line when we went and no one left. Everyone stop and waited their turn.

How is this place not rated as one of the top in Pensacola? I have lived here my whole life and I haven’t been daring enough to try this place. Until today! Beside Costa Maya, this place has the best tacos I have ever tried. The line moved fast and the freshest ingredients! I might go back tonight!
