We came here about 2 weeks ago while on vacation on the recommendation of someone who lived in the area. The restaurant itself is really just a small fish market that happens to cook up the fresh seafood they bring in. Nothing fancy - kind of a hole in the wall, but those tend to be gems and this was no exception.
It seemed most people got their orders to go. My husband bought a CRAZY amount of food - for some reason he thought we'd need 8 orders for 6 people (we ended up devouring just 5 and ate the rest later). The food was delicious! We ate it on the picnic tables outside - easy to wipe down the messy remains. And yes, you get messy eating this, but it's tasty and definitely worth it. Prices are so reasonable for the large amount of food you get, and everything tasted really fresh. Everyone we interacted with was very kind and willing to answer all our random questions. :) We will definitely go back next time we're in Panama City.

This meal was just awesome! It was raining so I went here for take-out back to the room across the street at the Wyndham. The wife and I split the red shrimp meal and had plenty to eat with some left over. The red shrimp were huge and you get about 18 to go along with potatoes and corn on the cob. We had a feast. Try it, you will enjoy.

Trying to decide what to have for dinner, we thought we would try out this restaurant. We have heard about the Royal Red Shrimp, but have not had a chance to eat any yet. So, we noticed that Local Streamer Seafood offered a Royal Red Shrimp platter. We decided to give it a try and let me tell you it did not disappoint. That shrimp is like eating lobster. We split the platter and that was more than enough for us. We will be ordering that again.

We ordered from here twice this week. Portions very large. Seafood platter for 21.99 big enough for 2 adults unless large eaters. Came with about 20 to 24 jumbo pealed and deveined shrimp, few pieces of spicy sausage, red potato chunks and 1 half ear or corn. Spiced with melted butter and old bay. For $2.99 more you can get another corn and more potatoes. The 11.99 tuna dip was a little pricey for the portion size but was good. We ordered ahead but still had to wait a little but they were very busy.

Me an my mother decided to try this place was told it was the best we waited 2hours for the food an disappointed we were. Food had no flavor at all not even the sausage wasn't worth the wait or money at all. Once i came home from Panama i tried a place that just reopened in ohio was more expensive but wow the taste of the food was amazing millions crab. Will never go back to local steams again next time in Panama city beach fl

I cannot believe we have waited so long to try this place. We called and got to-go orders and the food was absolutely delicious we ordered two steamed platters for four and the quality and amount of food we got was great. The only downside was how long it took to get our order but with the amount of food and the quality of food I did not mind after we received it. I would definitely recommend going to this place. And we are absolutely going to go here again.

We ordered here in 2018 and it was literally half the price it is now and came with shrimp potatoes and corn. We just paid $30 for a SINGLE POUND of shrimp and cocktail sauce , that's it. Buddy's has the same thing for $16/lb standard and $22 for jumbo. Check around before you purchase here they have definitely gotten "proud" of their name. We won't be back.

We ordered through Grub Hub and had our food delivered during vacation on two different nights. We had royal red shrimp and two low country boil entrees with corn, potatoes, sausage and crab legs. All of the food was great. The low country boil platter wasn’t the best value, based on the small size of the crab legs, but the price per pound of the royal reds made up for it. Really enjoyed it. Would order again.

My husband and I ordered takeout from here while in PCB. We both ordered the peeled and deveined shrimp platter. We took it back to the condo and sat out on the balcony to eat. It was very delicious! The platters came with plenty of shrimp, sausage, potatoes, and an ear of corn. It was seasoned perfectly. I was very impressed and I would highly recommend them.

The food wasn’t bad but not great! Corn was mushy and a waste of to much sausage and potatoes soaking in butter. Looked like 1 crab between 2 orders but several shrimp. Coleslaw lacked flavor product didn’t warrant $57 with tip and no drinks.

Due to the pandemic they are currently only doing takeout so on Sunday evening my wife called in our order. Since our family consists of 4 adults and my six year old Granddaughter we ordered the HUGE Steamed Seafood Family Platter (for four) which includes snow crab legs, kielbasa sausage, shrimp, corn on the cob & potatoes. This is a very popular place so the pickup time was approximately an hour. The food was plentiful and delicious and was well worth the wait. The employees were following all safety protocols. We will definitely return. Bill was $84.00. Located at 14656 Front Beach Road; open daily; limited parking.

We grab a carryout dinner whenever we are PCB. A shrimp dinner for one feeds both of us for $20. Extra large shrimp cooked perfectly and spices just right. It comes with shrimp, sausage, potatoes, and a half ear of corn. They close at 11 PM not 5 so come after the beach. You can call in an order as well or just drop in. No place to eat inside (or they would have gotten 5 stars) but a couple of picnic tables out front.

All the great reviews are true. Fantastic Gulf shrimp: large & delicious. We ordered a pound of shrimp for three people, it ended up being about 10 shrimp per person. It was a perfect amount. We also got sides of potato and corn. Their seasoning is excellent. Quick and easy to call in the order and pick it up. I would also recommend the Key lime pie.

I found this place on a Panama City Facebook page. Everyone said it was a MUST TRY.... I was so excited when I found it. The yard sign help a lot guys (don't take it down) otherwise I would have missed the place. As soon as walking in, I felt welcome their customer service was amazing and the FOOD WAS DELICIOUS 😋 definitely not disappointed. I can't wait to go back there again

I ordered online yesterday 1.5 hours ahead of dinner for my family’s to go order. Wasn’t ever contacted prior to my pickup time that there may be a problem getting my food to me. Additionally, when I arrived at the restaurant to pick up my order, I was told it “wasn’t ready yet”. So I waited an additional 10-15 minutes after my pickup time. That is when I was told that I would have to be refunded because they didn’t have the food cooked to cover my order. As this is a place that does the largest portion of its business on the to-go type of orders, I feel that the ball was dropped here.
