Captain Anderson's is one of our favorite places to go for a nice fresh fish dinner. The chargrilled fish is absolutely delicious, the rice rolls are a must have and you get to overlook the marina from most seats. If you're in the area we...would recommend you give Captain Anderson's a try.More

We had a fabulous night at Captain Anderson’s! Everything was amazing. The drinks were perfectly made. The wait time was shorter than expected, and Dennis S was a fantastic server. Dennis S did not hold back on his recommendation and was honest about the menu....He was a quick server with a fantastic personality. I now have a new favorite restaurant to visit when in town.More

Captain Anderson’s at times gets a low rating, but tonight my meal was just right. I had the fried shrimp, baked potato and a Greek salad. All were excellent. The shrimp were plentiful and lightly breaded. My wife had the grilled shrimp and her’s was...just as good. Great meal and don’t forget to take home some goodies from the bakery.More

We are a family of 6, my husband our two boys ( 15&13) his mother, my mother and of course myself. My mother and mil came to captain Andersons many many many years ago and loved it, I don’t remember it, but then again my...mother said I would sleep in a closet when I was there last ( I think that meant I was a baby… still not sure) Anyway, we all met up for a small getaway to PCB. I’ve never given much thought to the restaurant or have any driving desire to go, but is was Mother’s Day weekend and I was trying to find something special, it was the first Mother’s Day I’ve spent with my mother in several years and I noticed that captain Andersons was open for brunch that day, so before we all went our separate ways we stopped in for our Mother’s Day brunch. Stephen C. was our waiter and I must say, in all my years of eating out Stephen was fan-freaking-tastic! I mean quick witted and sharp! Totally understands when to laugh and take his time and when to speed up! My 13yr old has issues waiting so after we put in the drink order we put in his order. He got a hamburger and french fries, my husband had the tomahawk ribeye with the salad and fries, I had the seared scallops with the she crab soup, my mil had the filet with a baked potato (she doesn’t eat soup or salad so I ordered her) she crab soup, my mother had the stuffed half lobster and my 15yr old had the filet. My husband ribeye was insane! The char was delicious and the flavor of the beef🤤…. I actually just finished his for my lunch today lol. My scallops were… okay, not worth the $43 we paid but it was what I wanted to try. 5 scallops for that much, next time I will get something else. My mil’s filet was like butter! In fact I cut it with a butter knife! My mom has issues with anything that says “crab” now we are crab lovers but a lot of people use snow crab in the stuffings and soups and the last time she had snow crab she became violently ill so she now avoids it. Stephen assured us that there was no snow crab in anything we were ordering. Her stuffed lobster was delectable!!! I might order that next time lol. My husband also ordered the mozzarella sticks and our son, myself and my mother shared the calamari!!!! Everything was very very good and now captain Andersons is on our go to list for whenever we are back in PCB. The one thing I would change is have a special needs waitlist as well as a regular wait list. We were there before the doors opened so it wasn’t a big issue and since I know they do not have one when we go we will be going early. This is a MUST eat place!!! We will most definitely be back, every visit!More

We went to Captain Anderson’s Restaurant with Warrior Beach Retreat. The food was good and so was the atmosphere. Thank you for the hospitality!

Honestly, it was confusing finding the front door of this restaurant. After a little wait, we were seated at a comfortable booth and had first rate service for the entire dining experience. The view of the harbor was lovely. Now, on to the food: We...love when fresh warm bread is served promptly and they did not disappoint. My husband ordered the She Crab soup and really enjoyed it. Also, the Grilled Bay Shrimp was completely delectable! I ordered the Filet of Yellow Fin Tuna and that was absolutely divine! It was seasoned and grilled perfectly: you didn't have to add a thing to it. It has become the "one to beat!" Husband ordered Filet of Scamp and it was just wonderful! We never heard of Scamp fish before and it was very mild and tasty. With that being said, I have to say that the side dishes were pretty lame. I ordered Potatoes Au gratin and what I received were some lukewarm potatoes completely smothered in some gloppy Cheez Whiz?? Quite disappointing and my husband's French Fries were tasteless and limp. Other than the disappointing potatoes, we had a very nice evening at Capt. Andersons.More

She crab soup here was the best we had in our 8 day visit to PCB. Stuffed grouper was delish. Sunny, our waitress, was knowledgeable, attentive and very efficient. Key lime pie was good. After dining here, I see why this place is a staple....Our experience was very good.More

We have been to Captain A’s a few times over the years. My sister lives in Panama City. Food is still great. The restaurant can handle a big crowd and not get loud. The seafood platters are our favorite. They know how to cook. Parking...is free.More

Good service but the food was nothing special. Each of us had a different entree and all were just mediocre. For the price I expected much better. Have been to several other places on the beach that were much better and not as expensive. Au...gratin potatoes covered with cheese no flavors seasonings at all. Salad consisted of lettuce and tomatoes. And crabcakes with no remoulade sauce! What?!?! This was our first time trying it and won’t go back.More

Ambiance is great. They have a small silver Jewerly set up. It is GREAT!! Good is fantastic. I had plank salmon. My sister had crab cakes. For app we had grilled snow crab legs. All were yummmm!!!!! Disappointed they change the rolls they have served...for many years. The new are good but not great!! I always buy their Greek dressing to take home. Have been here at least 20 times, maybe more. Will go back!! They never disappoint!! Service is always fantastic!! We waited an hour, went by fast. We are from Georgia!!More

I remember when I could get a good meal at Captain Anderson’s prior to 2020. I ate there in 2021 & 2022. & terrible. Fish overcooked, crab claws in burnt butter sauce, cold baked potato with butter chunk. Desert take home not bad. I will...never go again. Tourist trap & plenty of good restaurants around the corner.More

The Patronis brothers bought Capt. Andersons from Max Anderson in 1967, so it was open prior to that date.
