About
Capt. Anderson's restaurant is one of those rare "family" restaurants that not only survives, but strengthens and improves through the years. The landmark waterfront restaurant is celebrating its 46th anniversary in 2013, and every year has witnessed remarkable growth without loss of quality. The restaurant has grown to 725 seats and, six nights a week, serves over 250,000 guests during its 8 month season. Founders, Jimmy and Johnny Patronis set high standards of hard work and consistency for the younger Patronis generations, and they still pull their shifts at the busy restaurant, stopping by to welcome old friends and loyal customers... occasionally bussing a table or taking a special order.

This is a must stop on our trips to PCB. Our server Kristen was amazing and the food really good. I had the blackened grouper and it was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Capt Anderson’s is probably my favorite restaurant in Panama City. I’ve been going since I was a little girl (I’m now in my 50’s) and I still love the atmosphere, the people, the waterfront views, and most especially the food. I could go on for...days about almost every item on the menu, but just to name a few... the fried grouper and grilled scamp is always amazing, she crab soup is so yummy, as is the seasonal black bean soup. I always get the Greek salad, it never disappoints, and I don’t know what they do to the baked potatoes, but they’re the best I’ve ever had. My husband is not a big shrimp eater, but always gets the fried shrimp surf and turf. I can’t say enough about this place. It’s the best!!More

Captain Anderson’s has great food. Warning the minimum dish starts and $16. However you get what you pay for and the seafood and steak are the best! We chose the Greek salad and it was the best! I Save room for the dessert, key lime...pie is delicious. The atmosphere is great. Sits on the marina and you feel like you are on a ship when you go in. They have a gift shop as well.More

The Patronis brothers bought Capt. Andersons from Max Anderson in 1967, so it was open prior to that date.
