This restaurant had VERY DELICIOUS FOOD! Tyler was our server and he was absolutely friendly and made great menu suggestions for our first time eating there. That lobster, shrimp and corn chowder was THE ABSOLUTE BEST! Thanks for a great experience!

This was a friendly place. Some of the dining area is open air, right on the waters edge. Food was great, and it was fun.

The fish tacos are good. Food is typical, over priced Beach food. Nothing spectacular but the view and convenience to the beach is nice.

Schooners is right on the beach and has great food selections. We service was great - and oh my - the bushwhackers were really good! Everyone loved the food that they got including the vegetarian in our group.

My wife had baked flounder and I had Shrimp and grits. Both were the sunset specials and were excellent. The help was fun and helpful. Don't miss the Schooner sunset special if you are in town!

We had a great seafood platter for lunch and some really good local beer (30a). Not to be outdone by the amazing view in the open air area. There is also beach access from the sitting area. I'll definitely recommend!

Arrived for dinner on a Monday evening, we were told to sit wherever we would like. After 15 minutes of having waitstaff pass by our table, our server showed up. The service did not get any better. Drinks were left unfilled, appetizers and salads arrived...More

There is sand for children to play. Also there is a volleyball court. No specific playground.

probably good choice but there are several 'beach bars' with numerous screens and great beach views along the strip/strand. check them out and choose your favorite then sit back and enjoy.

Salty Sue's is at the other end of the road towards Fort Walton Beach and it's excellent too.

Description
There's nothing "fancy" about Schooners cuisine; it is simple, fresh and perfect. No sauces cover the unbeatable flavor of truly fresh Grouper sizzled to perfection on the Schooners grill. A platter of fresh Fried Oysters, Hushpuppies and icy cold beer blend perfectly with the salty breeze blowing in off the Gulf.
