Real funky setting on bayou at end of old wooden dock. But menu was extensive with seafood offerings. We had salad, crab cakes, blackened grouper, and fried oysters; all of which were good. Wait staff was very friendly and efficient.

Bayou Joe's is advertised as an Old Florida place to eat, and that is exactly what it is. Set on pylons in a bayou, the view is of boats and water. The menu was original: the Trash Burger is a hamburger with whatever the chef wants to add. Ours had chili, a lollipop and animal crackers. Delicious!

We stop by this place every time we are in town. So it was a beautiful day sunny and warm for this time of year. Service as always was friendly and laid back, the place got busy just after we arrived but the food arrived In a timely manner. We had a couple of mild issues with the food in... More

Besides the view, the place is GREAT, the food is always good, the service is also, the girls have just the right sense of humor, to deal with the customers that come here, The way to start your day is with one of there great bloody marys and a trash omelet. The view of the bay and the draw bridge,... More

My husband ordered the Blackened Grouper and Bay Scallops. I ordered their Spicy Grilled Shrimp. The spices weren't to my liking so we swapped plates. I had an appetizer of Shrimp rolls that were amazing, so good, in fact, that we stopped back by on our way back home to have some as a snack. We both had a handcrafted... More

We have really enjoyed Bayou Joes for several years. We love the atmosphere and we love the onion strings, with every meal! However, while I can't put my finger on exactly what, something was 'off' on our most recent visit. We stopped for lunch on a very busy day and, between the four of us, nothing was particularly great. Of... More

Hidden gem on Massalina bay. Worth the trip. Food and service was excellent. I had cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. Husband had patty melt.

Primarily due to the glowing reviews, we decided to have lunch here during our day trip to Panama City. Not sure what all the fuss is about. The food is mediocre, the service was courteous but somewhat inattentive (they were a bit busy), and the prices are a little on the high side. Not a place I would bother returning... More

Great weather, great food, great staff!! Hard to beat that combination! This was our second visit & the blackened grouper sandwich with sweet potato fries & Oyster City Hooter's Brown was phenomenal. This is a wonderful place for great food in a really nice setting on the water. We will definitely return on another visit.
