Parking for all kind and size of vehicles at this diner. We were seated immediately in this huge building. Food, prices, service were fine, not great. Patrons have to exit the diner to use the restrooms. Hope it is not raining if you visit.

Great food, big portions, super friendly and attentive staff. Classic diner food and atmosphere. Would definitely come back.
Greek type diner with all day meals. Big menu and daily specials. Love their lemon chicken soup and want to come back for breakfast.
Stopped in for lunch after a long walk and am glad we did. Family restaurant with great food and pleasant wait staff. Very fresh and well made. Sweet potato fries unbelievable.
I greeted the hostess and told her we'd like to sit out side. She didn't respond even though she was looking right at me. I stood there a minute waiting for her to say, "okay" and give me a couple of menus to bring outside....She looked at me with daggers and snapped, "OK!" So, I went outside and sat at an empty table that had dirty dishes on it because it was the only table available. We waited about 15 minutes for a server to clear the table and give us menus. She never bothered to say, "hello or sorry it took me so long to get to your table"...nothing. The server acted like she was doing us a favor by waiting on us. I've been going to Popi's for years and was always happy with the food and service. The staff used to be kind and courteous. Apparently, things have changed and now it is acceptable for the staff to be rude & curt to the customers. This seems to be a recurring theme with Popi's restaurants. The staff at the 17th St. location in Sarasota isn't any better. There are too many other great places to dine where the staff understands how to provide great food & courteous service.More
We came here with my 4 year old son. The breakfast was absolutely delish and filling! Great staff and even better food! Will definitely return.
It’s been a year now and the wait staff still has no clue how to wear a mask or wear one at all! People coming in with no masks. I won’t be back, I don’t care how good the food is. Ridiculous. Lady at front...desk wears hers but that’s it. Gave 2 stars for the food.More
Good quality homemade food. Fair prices. Quick and pleasant service. A lot of local people. Very satisfied.
We were there on Sunday. Not one employee was properly wearing a mask or social distancing. When asking their employees I was told that I did not need to come back. The hostess was not wearing a mask and bent over into my grandsons face...(within inches) to speak with him. We have been long time patrons here and we will not go back. We will continue to support local businesses that participate with and care for our community. They made it clear to me if you are into COVID 19 prevention then this is not the place for you.More
We stopped here for breakfast and were not disappointed with food. Portions were nice size. Biscuits were huge and delicious. Service was just okay. We had to keep asking for necessary items such as coffee. Overall food was good and restaurant was nice. I would...consider a local diner.More
As my husband is house-bound, I often order out, both lunch and/or dinner, and I am never disappointed. My order is typically ready and waiting when I get to the restaurant and the staff always assists me with carrying the food to my car as...I am on a walker and limited in what I can carry myself. The menu selection is varied and there is also usually something on the special menu that is appealing. The staff is so pleasant and it is always a happy experience eating in or taking out from Popi's.More
A small chain of local cafes. While the food was average+ the serving sizes were ample. All of this was pleasantly superceded by a friendly and very efficient server. We will return just to experience her service again.
Are usually enjoy each of the restaurants, but taking a large family is not always a good idea. Service is not as good when there’s a large table. But I can always expect the food to be good. Especially breakfast
Having tried all of the Popi's in the past six years they all will satisfy and give fair value for their meals. This location has specials that are outstanding; i.e. stuffed pork tenderloin with smoked gouda! Over the Top! Specials daily and great service! This...is a popular location for breakfast and lunch with dinners available in the winter.More
Service was fast and friendly. Food came up quick. It was tasty and very fresh. Potatoes were awesome. The patio tables are always nice. We will be back. Thanks popi.
