Informal setting with seating indoor or out. Wait staff very friendly and attentive. Well prepared fresh seafood at a reasonable price. Popular with locals.

Absolutely fresh fish. They have their own clam farm, but serve all kinds of fish. Always have a fish of the day which they prepare cooked whole. Wonderful.

Well as we drove up, we thought, oksy, just a very local place. Eh !! Once seated, the server was most helpful and their unique fresh fish is presented by weight on a clip board. Only so much available each day and selection based on what was caught. WOW it was so GOOD. Nothing like fresh when it comes to... More

The fresh seafood is great, there is nothing bad on the menu. The clam chowder is to die for. In addition they have a great choice of draft beers. For those hard of hearing the restaurant can be a little noisy.

My wife and her friend love sushi, while my friend and I prefer cooked. You can get both here. They also have a fresh fish market on the side. Great cheese grits and cucumber salad!!

My first visit recently and I loved the atmosphere of this family run restaurant. Fresh fish caught daily, great daily drink specials and the staff was courteous and helpful. Tucked away in the back streets of Palmetto. Big big thumbs up👍👍

My husband and I had thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at the Clam House. The peel and eat shrimp were seasoned to perfection and served warm in the shell. We ordered the Thai Fry Hog Snapper to share. My husband said it was the best fish he has had in a long time. He even liked the cucumber salad when he... More

We love the atmosphere at The Clam House and the food and presentation are excellent! We usually go every week. Have yet to have a bad experience after eating there for 3 years. Great choice for large parties or an intimate dinner.

The "tropical grouper" they are serving this month is AMAZING. There is nothing better than getting black grouper right off the boat! Husband always has the Thai Fry and loves it as much. I had a regular martini that was a fabulous as I have ever had. Adam is our go-to server. Very friendly and helpful. This is now our... More

This is an eclectic restaurant that never disappoints. We love that it is tucked away and casual, but the food is anything but casual. You can get a whole fried fish, to sushi, to clams. If you are not a seafood person, you might want to sit this one out; it is truly for the seafood lover. Fish and clams... More
