A bit repetitive, but great food, great service and great prices pretty well sums it up. Eggs Benedict for less than $8.00? Unbelievable, but true!

When you walk into this restaurant it's like going back in time. The décor in this restaurant is probably like it was when the building was originally built. There is even an old time coffee counter area. So cute. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. I ordered eggs, grits, bacon and toast. The grits were the best... More

You can't go wrong selecting anything for breakfast or lunch. It's all great! It gets busy, but worth the wait. Daily specials served in an eclectic brick building.

It'll be even more crowded on my next visit! 5 of us went for a Sunday brunch. Everyone was well satisfied with the taste, portion size and reasonable cost of their selection. The service was exceptional. Lauren, our wait person, was efficient, knowledgable, and exuded Southern charm. We plan to request one of her tables on our subsequent visits. The... More

We stopped in for breakfast, my wife, daughter and I. Immediately noticed about 10 people standing near the door Waiting for a table. We also noticed they were about 7 or 8 tables that were empty some were cleaned off some still had dirty plates and silverware on them. At one point one of the ladies who works there came... More

Step into old Florida, a little off the beaten path. With real wooden floors, and Natural brick walls, and tin ceilings. And the folks there make you feel like family. And the food is to live foor. That first bite will bring you back for more!

It's looking a tad tired, but the food is as good as when they opened. It's hard to go wrong with either breakfast or lunch at Norma Rae's. Love the vintage building, although it makes for an acoustical challenge if you have hard of hearing folks. Eggs, hummingbird cake, pita, sandwiches, omelettes --- they make it all good. Be prepared... More

Quaint converted storefront on old Main Street in Palmetto. A go-to place for breakfast and lunch, with traditional menu items at a fair price. The service is usually attentive and the portions are generous. Can get a bit loud when families with kids are eating but overall a comfortable, casual place to eat.
