Coffee comes with the meal. you had your choice of meat and either a cheesy potato, fruit or grits or american fries. the place is a nice size and could accommodate a larger group. Prices are very... I recently had the good fortune to stop by Norma Rae's with my daughter and her boy friend. When we pulled up I was immediately reminded of a restaurant in the town in rural Indiana which I left to come to FL. Good honest businesses that keep this country going, Not the run of the mill chains that so dot... More

Norma Rae's is my favorite breakfast spot in the Bradenton-Palmetto area. They are a customer focused business that is extremely well run. They take great pride in the cleanliness, service and quality of food; which is a great contrast to the chain waffle houses of the world. First, the service is superlative. Their wait staff is attentive to every detail... More

A bit repetitive, but great food, great service and great prices pretty well sums it up. Eggs Benedict for less than $8.00? Unbelievable, but true!

When you walk into this restaurant it's like going back in time. The décor in this restaurant is probably like it was when the building was originally built. There is even an old time coffee counter area. So cute. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. I ordered eggs, grits, bacon and toast. The grits were the best... More

You can't go wrong selecting anything for breakfast or lunch. It's all great! It gets busy, but worth the wait. Daily specials served in an eclectic brick building.

It'll be even more crowded on my next visit! 5 of us went for a Sunday brunch. Everyone was well satisfied with the taste, portion size and reasonable cost of their selection. The service was exceptional. Lauren, our wait person, was efficient, knowledgable, and exuded Southern charm. We plan to request one of her tables on our subsequent visits. The... More
