Table No.6 Awful Experience After spending a couple of hundred dollars or more on four main entrees, including appetizers, desserts, and drinks. The Manager/Owner approached our table and asked us to leave, she stated that there is a time limit at the table then moved...us out the door. We were stunned, at the time the bar was empty and there were a few pub tables available for other customers. We were not aware of table time limits. Here's the showstopper - We had already paid our bill and were in the process of finishing up our drinks when this occurred. Therefore, If the Manager/Owner would have checked with the staff/server, she would have known we were leaving instead of creating an undesired outcome. A proper approach to the situation for the Manager/Owner should have been to move us to the bar so that we could at least finish our drinks instead of treating us in a harsh rude manner. We will not be back to this Ristorante EVER. However, we have a few suggestions you might want to consider going forward. Be transparent regarding your table limits at the time of seating reservations, consider checking with your staff/server for any table updates before taking drastic measures to be rude to your customers, consider buying more tables. In addition, consider a training class on customer service.More

We arrived with a party of 7. Great food, great service! We started with an array of appetizers, including Mozzarella Caprese, Bruschetta, Fried Calamari, clams and a classic Margherita Pizza. All very delicious! Our main dishes were eggplant Parmigiana, Chicken Francese, Veal Saltimbocca, more pizza...and Penne Alla Vodka, served with soup or salad. Super! I will never go back to this restaurant again. The hostess also the manager was so anti-customer service, it was laughable. I went in with No Reservations and she told me to go to another restaurant to eat because she had nothing available. Then when...I ordered my food and it wasn't good she told me well you should have just send it back right away so there's nothing I can do. The whole experience was awful and I will never go there againMore

Some years since our last visit ... and it still has the same warm and friendly atmosphere. Some of the portions are rather huge, but always tasty. If you haven’t yet been, you won’t be disappointed.

The menu did not offer Italian actual food. The calamary entree was not properly seasoned. Will not come back to the restaurant looking for italian food….

Conveniently located on Tampa Road in a small shopping center with plenty of parking. The restaurant offers great food at reasonable prices. Traditional Italian dishes are available as well as steaks, chops and fish. Excellent !!!

We had a 4:15 reservation. It was a Birthday dinner. We waited 40 mins for our drinks. Once drinks came we ordered and waited 1 hour plus for the food to arrive. 4 out of the 5 meals were delivered. I had to wait 5...more mins till the last meal showed up. The food was dry and over cooked. The waitress never came back to ask if everything was okay. Never asked to refill our drinks. This was not the 1st time we dined there. Worse than Olive garden this time. What happened?More

Went with family for my birthday celebration last week and everything was wonderful! The bartender was our server, taking care of all the drinks at the bar and our table as well. He kept up the hustling pace with a smile and made our night...most enjoyable. I had the veal saltimbocca and it was delicious!More

Thanks to all the positive reviews, I was genuinely excited to be having dinner here. Unfortunately the experience was below-mediocre on just about every level. I was seated immediately and received my appetizer (fried mozzarella) within minutes- off to a good start, although things quickly...went downhill. It took my waitress 15 minutes to realize I wasn't given bread, and another 15 minutes to bring it to the table, all while ignoring my empty water glass (which she continued doing throughout my meal). When the food arrived almost an hour later, my chicken parm was boring and rubbery to the point of being inedible (not something I can usually say about chicken parm because it's difficult to get completely wrong). Perhaps I experienced Positano's on a bad night but I don't feel the need to return. My search for good Italian in the area continues.More

The decor is Arabic carpets on the wall...which is weird for an Italian restaurant. The food- My shrimp pasta was absolutely flavorless. The steak was supposed to be medium rare but came out well done, and my daughter's seafood pasta was bland, at best. The...bruschetta was made with some sort of crushed tomato mixture in instead of nice large diced pieces, which we were hoping for. The stuffed mushrooms were stuffed with crumbled pizza sausage and topped with a flavorless cheese. I so wanted to like this place but the food was so subpar, we won't be back.More

The food was the only part of the experience which was acceptable, albeit barely. All other aspects of the dining experience made for a forgettable evening. You name it, they failed at it. Opening statement: We KNOW Italian food and Positano's was no disappointment. My Lady had the veal picatta and I the frutti de mare. Both dishes excellent! With dinner we enjoyed a very nice Santa Ema Merlot as well as a bottle of San Pellagrino. Our...server, James was right on and very efficient. We will DEFINITELY return. AND, NO KIDS!!More
