Our first visit here and certainly will be the last one. We decided To support local and visit this place. We sat outside our server Brianna (wearing Miami Dolfins shirt) was initially nice. We ordered wings (Overpriced at $19 for 10 thin wings and little...meat) , Cobb salad and three burgers. We made it clear to “Bri” that we’d place all Our food orders at once to serve the apps first then the burgers. While waiting for our apps, a couple sat next to our table but eve guy left bc no one welcomed them. The another table was allowed to bring their pet dog, unleashed, roaming the patio floor. No manager to address the issue. Wings arrived, and for $2 dollars per wing, you’d expect blue cheese dressing with chunks of blue cheese and not cheap dressing with mini pieces of blue cheese. Let alone served at room temperature Then there’s the cigars smoking man at a table at the entrance. The staff member wearing a white kitchen jacket was eating fries from his plate. Talk about disgusting and health code violation. Meanwhile we finished our wings and mediocre Cobb salad amd asked for extra napkins. After the table needed attention to clear dirty plates and perhaps get a refill on beers or waters the busboy wearing the Rams shirt was no where to be found other than watching the football game on the large screen TV. See attached photo. Brianna was serving other guests but when we asked a fellow sever to have her come by our table and when she did i we asked to have the dirty plates cleared ( bc the busboy was visit watching football). She was indignant and left without anything from the table. By now it’s been over 30 minutes for our burgers And the dog lady and her guests were done eating their lunch. When asking for a manager, no one ever appeared Finally when Brianna leisurely returned to our table we cancelled our burgers. Her lack of attention and professionalism causes need for some basic training. I understand we’re all trying to deal with Covid and staffing shortages etc. but what I’m sharing with you has nothing to do with current events. It’s about Hospitality and being willing to serve guests. Don’t waste your time or money here bc they don’t care.More

Stopped in for a late lunch early dinner. I ordered the Cowboy Flatbread and the wife had Chicken Quesadilla Not certain what I didn’t like about either options but they left me dissatisfied. Serves was decent! So no issues there

Poor service, had to talk to 3 different waitresses before we received our drinks. Decided to get food to go after the appetizer. See photo for their $19 Short Rib Mac... 1 rib with 90% pasta.

Family was visiting from out of town and we decided to give Townies Tavern a try. What a great choice !! Outdoor seating with live music on a beautiful Friday evening. Our server was Alexandra and she was terrific, super friendly and attentive. She took...great care of us. We had the Tuna lettuce wraps which were awesome with a nice kick of spice. We also had wings and a couple of Cobb salads and a burger. Large portions and good quality on everything. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Enrique the manager stopped by and he was also super friendly and made sure we were satisfied with everything and we were. Thanks to Enrique and Alex we will definitely be coming back.More

My Wife and I had gone to Townies in the past and found it to be just OK. We went Friday to celebrate a Birthday and found a completely different place. The food was much better, the service was so much faster and the staff...was excellent. It seemed like the staff was happy to be there. Whatever they changed, it was for the good. We will be regulars at Townies. KEEP IT UP. GREAT JOBMore

First time here and sat at the outside bar area. The seating was fine but the music was extremely loud and very hard to have a conversation. The food was good and the drink I ordered was good but not worth $12. This place was...okay but would likely try somewhere else next time.More

We visited this place on a Friday late afternoon on 3/12/21, it was very busy and bustling. We were promptly seated outside under a large Tiki like structure that has a outdoor bar in the center of the structure. Our server, Erin, arrived to take...our order quickly. We were very pleased with the location of our table. My wife ordered a pastrami Ruben and I ordered a Cuban sandwich. Our drinks arrived promptly and were as ordered. The food was delicious and exactly as ordered. The wait time for food was about 10-15 mins.and acceptable in view of the large crowd. We both enjoyed our food and found it to exceeding our expectations after seeing the reviews. The portions were smaller than expected but still very good. We like this place because of the location ,service and food and we liked the outdoor seating. We will return and highly recommend a visit. The beer was cold and the wine was great.More

I have traveled quite a bit. Enjoyed restaurants from NY to Paris. Townies manager is the first to have ever dismissed a legitimate complaint with such arrogance. Our family is a fairly large group. We often meet up with friends for an afternoon treat. While...planning such an event, we searched restaurants for a happy hour complete with appetizers . Our bill was substantially high for a happy hour menu. When I reviewed the charges I noticed we had been charged regular price for several of the appetizers. I brought it to the intention of our waitress. She dismissed it as a mistake of the kitchen. We must have received the larger dinner portion. We did not. I counted. (Incidentally the lettuce wraps were awful, so we hadn't even eaten them all. I saved the receipt. On a later occasion, with another large group I approached the manager. I thought he would want to know we had been overcharged. His attitude was dismissive. He showed total disinterest. I attempted to show him the receipt. It had date and time of day indicated. He barley glanced at it and tossed it back.. He said their hours for happy hour had changed to 1-6pm. It was 3-6pm when we had gone. Our time of day was 4pm. I was puzzled and questioned him. At that point he snapped at me "So you want me to comp your lunch?" I said, "No." That is not why I came. I thought you would want to know you were over charging your customers. Discussed, I went back to finish my meal. The manager ignored us. I enjoyed my family despite the discomfort from the establishment. However, I made the decision to NEVER set foot in Townies Tavern again. Such negligence and arrogance has no place in the restaurant business. Please examine your receipts!More
