Hello and happy days! Just moved to Stuart and trying this restaurant. for the 1st time. The sushi rolls and hibachi vegetables were Amazing! Will definitely visit again. Cannot beat the service.

A modern Japanese restaurant with a decent size sushi bar. Our 20 minute wait turned into a 30 minute wait, while others walked in and were offered the sushi bar as a place to eat. So you have to ask if you want to sit there.
Recap of the food:
- Fried calamari appetizer was really tasty but it was barely warm when it got to the table. It was getting late and we were very hungry so we ate it.
- Lady Gaga roll was innovative and very tasty. Think carefully when trying to pick up a piece. needs a little support on the side to keep it all together. Recommend this roll.
- Spiderman roll was good although the flavor of the soft shell crab was hidden beneath a bunch of other ingredients.
- Buffalo Jalapeno Roll was a bit disappointing. Seemed like a lot of tempura filler inside the jalapeno and it masked the flavor of other ingredients.
In summary, the most flavor cam from the Lady Gaga roll. Our other rolls were not exactly exploding with flavor. We will try this place again because it is convenient to our location. Will try a regular Spider roll and probably repeat the Lady Gaga roll. Hopefully we will discover the gems and be able to report on them at another time.

We often go there for dinner. Asian food was not my favorite, but the food here is excellent. I love the California rolls and yum yum sauce

I know! Just the rice and veggies? Sadly, for my husband and I, the answer is yes.
I wanted to like this restaurant because there are so few with similar food in the area. However, I can't say it was good.
We ordered the authentic crab in a California Roll for 10.00 as an appetizer. It came out in a tiny roll, loosely bound and with hardly any crab.It was disappointing and I wonder if it would have been better not to pay the extra 4.00 for the real crab and simply ordered the regular California Roll?
We then ordered the Hibachi chicken with rice and veggies.First, we got the salad and miso soup. The salad was just greens with a lot of dressing. It was not cold. It was warm. The soup was watery without much taste! The main dinner came out looking great! The small of garlic was pronounced. After tasting it, it was soon apparent it was heavily doused with garlic. The chicken was over cooked and dried out. The veggies and rice were OK.
If I try to find anything good, there was ample food.However, I threw whatever we took home out as my refrigerant smelled from the overcooked chicken with garlic and why would I want to re-heat already dried out, overcooked chicken? Sorry.
Maybe just regular sushi next time? (If we come back.)

Let's face it, no restaurant performs perfectly on every stroke and that is not something they should try for. Make some fantastic tasting dishes, give excellent customer service with smiling faces all at a value driven price and they will come.
We've driven by here several times and since we love sushi and sashimi today we stopped in for lunch. The place was very clean, the bar was fantastic looking stocked with everything you could possibly want. We took a seat at the back and our server immediately brought us menus and asked for our drink order.
After spending some time with the rather extensive menus we chose Rolls for lunch although there were a dozen other items I wanted to try. And of course at some point we are going to have to take a seat at the bar and try then all.
This is one of the best Japanese restaurants that I've been to in several states and several large cities including DFW, San Francisco, Denver and Las Vegas.
Way to go Hokkaido, keep up the fantastic food and service.

There are several good Japanese restaurants in the Stuart area, something you might not expect. None are as good as Hokkaido. Since they opened about 3 years ago it has become our go-to spot. It’s tastefully decorated with a casual elegant style. There’s a king sushi bar as you enter, a tatami room and the main dining room with sleek black touches. There is a huge selection of specialty sushi rolls (as well as all the usual) and I’ve yet to be disappointed. For those who are not sushi fans there are plenty of other options from negimaki to tempura to teriyaki and more. Their Bento Box dinners are a great deal with ample choices. They serve wine, beer and sake but their selection of all is limited. Service is usually excellent but we’ve had a couple off nights.

The food and food excellent. However, waitress ended an enjoyable meal. I used a gift card to pay a portion of the bill and split tender with other 1/2 of family. I left what I thought was 20% tip. Waitress came and picked up before we left. My bad, didn’t realize it was I left it after the giftcard deduction. But to come back and embarrass me in front of my family telling us she has to pay difference to the chef was a disgrace! Adjusted the extra 6.00 but never again will we step foot in there. Could have asked me as I was walking out. Shame on her and the owner

The wife and I have eaten here since they opened. It has always been good to excellent. This is a Japanese restaurant owned and managed by Chinese people. This is common everywhere, and the better places employ one or more Japanese chefs for the Sushi and Sashimi . I think this is due to the necessary handling and preparing of raw fish, In this restaurant they started with two Japanese chefs - but no more. My reason for lowering my rating is the last two visits, the raw fish was warm. This is a No No in my book. Raw fish should always be very cold, right up to the time you eat it. They should put the Japanese chefs back.

The decor of the restaurant was wonderful. Our waitress was friendly and great. Love it when they get you your refill before your drink is gone☺. The food was delicious. Plenty to eat. I had the hibachi chicken and my husband had hibachi filet mignon. Both were delicious. I had leftovers. Really enjoyed the fried rice that came with it. Lunch prices are very reasonable. Definitely will go back. A great experience.

Accommodating staff, nice atmosphere great food! We went for my son's birthday. Staff was terrific very patient with our big obnoxious group. Everything we had was very fresh and tasty.
