The food is delicious and the atmosphere is great. After all the appetizers we ordered and unfortunately our entrees were wrong.. We ordered Mahi dinners and ended up with Mahi sandwiches. That was our only disappointment with a $300 bill. Hopefully next time our order...will be right.More

We had a very unpleasant experience at Spoto's and will not be returning. Our party of 6 was mistreated by our waiter because two of our bar drinks came to us wrong. When we requested the correct drinks, the waiter refused to make it right....The manager came to our table and instead of making things right by us, they kicked two of our party out for complaining about feeling mistreated. All 6 of us left, but after given a bill with the drinks that were wrong and drinks that the rest of our party didn’t have time to drink. The manager handled a simple miscommunication so poorly and lost at least six regular customers because of it. Shame.More

I live in Palm Beach and used to come to Spotos before the apparent new management We went to try it again since they advertised a Summer Special 3 course dinner. I also noted there was a birthday (which was acknowledged when they confirmed my...reservation and was Never acknowledged during the visit!). When we got there they had changed the sumner menu which was advertised (and I had a copy of) yet they would not honor it -even though the item was on the dinner menu (shrimp scampi) they were totally inflexible. I spoke to the manager and it was like too bad. Here’s what it is now. Take it or leave it! So I ordered it off the regular menu and should have returned it. There was so much oil and butter in it I poured it off in a bowl. The brocolinni looked like sautéed spinach it was so saturated Totally inedible. I ate only the shrimp after soaking them in my napkin If it had not been pouring rain and high winds, we would have left immediately and now wish we had regardless of the weather. My last visit. Too bad it has gone so downhill. It used to be a fun place with great people and foodMore

We were in town for quick business trip and stumbled upon Spoto's. We ended up having one of the best fish dishes we had in a while with a unique prep technique. First the fresh oysters there were fantastic. They had bi-costal choices from briney...to sweet. Their mignonette was really different, using passion fruit as the base. It complemented the oysters without being overpowering. We also shared a few house Ceasars prior to the main dish. The fish was a Yellowtail, seasoned and scored before being dropped into the deep fryer. Once out, it was hit with a light tamari sauce and served on a bed of seasoned rice. Asparagus on the side. Our server Adam recommended the dish. It was about 1.5 pounds but is usually about twice as large. We were fine with what they had that night. We were impressed with Adam’s knowledge of the prep on all the dishes we asked about. Good on him and the head chef for prepping them properly. In house Key Lime Pie for dessert. We tried a few of their wines and other cocktails with the meal. Try the Limoncello Martini if you are looking for something a little different Sequoia Grove chardonnay is also very nice. Heather, the manager did a great job too. She kept everything flowing smoothly. very funny sense of humor. Cool outside patio with a covered outside bar. Music (DJ) on the weekends.More

We moved from up north A few years ago & started coming with your friends & husband for last three years....the seafood is so fresh! Oysters and clams are beyond delicious... wouldn’t mind seeing a few extra sides on menu! Just an observation!! I love...sides!! Especially the old Bay chips!! Even during Covid we still would visit the restaurant mostly sitting outside - that’s when we met the unbelievable friendly Cheryl!!! Once we were greeted by her and started to have a conversation we ... thought she was the new owner- The amount of care and ownership she took of the restaurant it definitely seem like someone who had a vested interest just like an owner!!! She walked around and greeted everyone new people by name and just had such a friendly and warm feeling about her. She was constantly working the room and making sure everyone’s needs were met. We continue to go every couple months during Covid- But n noticed I change on the days when she wasn’t there Just seem like a missing link- it didn’t have that warm feeling.. sometimes we call the restaurant before we go to see if Cheryl‘s there- if she is we decide to go if she isn’t—- then we opt for one of our other favorites on PGA Boulevard- Scusci J Alex etc Thanks to Cheryl for always making our experience stellar!More

My husband's pretzel crusted snapper was over cooked and our service was spotty at best. No bread, drinks were slow. When we asked to speak to a manager, Jude Chassagne came out and told us the fish had been fine for the previous 25 customers!...Couldn't and why we were complaining. He did remove that charge from our bill, but told me that I had an attitude.More

Came here last night with my husband and a friend. Food was excellent, oysters and tuna. My husband had the seafood pasta excellent. Waiter was a little strange in the beginning. As soon as the manager came over he got better. Came back tonight sitting...at the bar alone because of unfortunate circumstances and the bar person behind the bar ignored me. I tried speaking with her and she cut me off and finally The manager came to help and I flagged him down and told him that she was ignoring me. He Took my order. For a while she got better as soon as she knew I was speaking with the manager. Ordered Malbec wine and it came out ice cold. I told her and she said OK and left me. Can’t figure out what her problem is. Too bad Because the food is excellent.More
