We recently dined in this popular Palm Beach Restaurant on a busy Friday night in the middle of peak season. We arrived for our 8 pm reservation and were forced to stand in the very crowded bar area steps from the open kitchen. We waited at least half an hour and complained to the hostess about the length of time spent waiting. When we were finally seated, the hostess apologized, the manager apologized and our waitress apologized. They offered to provide us with a complimentary bottle of wine for our trouble. The waitress was most excellent quickly taking our orders and filling our water glasses, changing plates and cutlery as needed. My appetizer was a PB salad which was excellent as was my husband’s tuna salad. My fabulous crab cakes and oh so crispy shoestring fries were delicious. My husband had a perfectly cooked delicious filet. All in all the restaurant more than made up for the long wait and we would not hesitate to recommend and return again.

hardly any palm beach restaurants take reservations during baseball spring training time, so if youre planning on dining at 7pm, better get to the your place of choice by 6. and this should be your place of choice. terrific decor, starched table clothes, super attentive service, good drinks, and oh yeah, the food is fantastic. And heres a tip, if you dont want to wait the 69-90 minutes for a dining room table, opt out for the honor bar, a slightly abbreviated menu, but well worth it. Our server was as good as you could get, on the ball, knowledgeable, attentive , and made good recommendations. We had stone crab legs for an appetizer and they were outstanding, with my wife selecting crab cakes for her entree while i chose the red snapper. food was superb and so was the wine list. its pricey but worth every penny.

Now that we're in lockdown except for pick up service we tried last night and thought they have it down to perfect. We ordered and paid online. We told them when to have it ready and came at the right time. There was a woman outside asking for our name and when we gave it she went in and brought out a bag with our dinner. Perfect.

Saw a review on this topic of no decaf. I was likewise shocked that a restaurant of PBG’s caliber would disappoint guests on such an important matter as coffee with dessert. We were told it was a cost saving measure. I found this statement a little insulting given the prices customer are asked to pay for a high end dining experience. I am a little embarrassed for them because it is so stupid, the “Manager” that thought this up should be sent back to school to understand how to satisfy customers.

Table was booked a months before , we came just in time. They kept us 40 minutes waiting for the table , standing in the entrance area, saying just 10 minutes more , 10 minutes more , no reason why. Got a table, we ordered meals dining experience started. Starters came in time , when collecting the starter plates in haste away the main courses came at the same time. Main courses were tack dry , they had been waiting under the heat lamps. We ate , order the bill and went away. Never again.

Palm Beach Grill is the best. The room is beautiful with a great design, the right level of lighting, tasteful art and comfortable seating. You can’t beat the food — there is something for everyone and the menu is perfectly executed and presented. Servers are knowledgeable and friendly, anticipating your needs and genuinely happy to be there. The attention to detail and authenticity can’t be beat.

Palm Beach Grill is a superlative dining experience. The decor is intimate and beautiful. The service is attentive without being overbearing. The artichoke appetizer had the right amount of juiciness. The crab legs were cold and fresh. My cod was flaky and the topping crusty. The tartar sauce was creamy and light. The ribs were meaty but may have been a little heavy. For desert, the ice cream sundae was served with a boat of chocolate sauce and could feed the table. The key lime pie has the perfect balance of sweetness and tartness. We will definitely be back!

I had always wanted to have dinner here but could never manage to get a convenient reservation.
It was worth the wait.
We started with a drink at the bar which wasn’t too crowded and pleasant
For starters we had the famous Oysters St. Charles and the Emerald Kale salad which were both amazing.
For Entrees we enjoyed the Creole shrimp w/ basmati rice which was spicy and the Florida Red Snapper Both were excellent, our waiter was extremely attentive and very professional.

In the heart of Palm Beach at the west end of the Royal Poinciana. Seating for about 12 outside and 60 plus inside. Reservations recommended. Allie was our server and could not hsve been nicer of more helpful. Classic American menu available on line. Not overly ambitious but tastefully prepared and presented. Two of us enjoyed the Creole Jumbo Shrimp in a fabulous sauce with rice as well as the French Dip Au Jus with mild gravy plus horseradish sauce. Both were very enjoyable and we finished with a wonderful key lime pie plus a banana Sunday and some very good coffee. Thoroughly enjoyable with reasonable spacing with other diners. Plan on about $70 per person with tip.

This trumps everything else in terms of food and service. It''s the only PB eatery (of 9 we have visited since the re-openings) to snub this critical health advisory.
No amount of good cooking or friendly service can compensate for this.
It's insulting to their patrons and displaysa certain arrogance which is displeasing.

I always enjoy dining at The Grill. Unfortunately I forgot how much breading is on the Dover Sole.
I had a hard time distinguishing the fish from the breading. There are many good dishes, but stick to the
Simple dishes. Most of the dishes with sauces are disappointing. The Grill is extremely popular and getting
A reservation can be a challenge. That said, it is certainly worth a visit.

WHO DOES THIS TO A BURGER?
Our favorite spot for years has suddenly decided it must try to be fancy. They take what would be a perfectly tasty cheeseburger and cut it into fours like a club sandwich and slather on a foul tasting relish. Yuck! Stop trying to be Mr. Fancy Pants. Get back to basics.

I have been going to this restaurants for several years and it has always been one of my favorites. Well apparently there is new management and they have made changes that don't make sense when you have something going good. It started off when the server told us - sorry we are out of oysters, snapper, pork chop, and prime rib. Are you kidding me - a Saturday night and out of the most popular dishes. Then when reviewing the menu I notice that they changed the description of the fried oysters presentation. Even though they were out I asked about the change and the server told us that it was a management decision which she did not know why as it was one of the most popular dishes and also my favorite. So we ordered and when the Caesar salad arrived we noticed it was different. Again we asked why the change and the server said it was to cut cost. Again why when it was so successful and popular before? Then when our entrees arrived I tasted the mashed potatoes and coleslaw and it didn't taste the same and not as good. Again I asked the server and she told us that they changed the way they made it and added cabbage to the mashed potatoes to cut cost. How disappointing. You would have thought with the big price increases they just did with the menu that would cover any cost issues if there were any ( actually being in the food service business pricing has gone down the last several months). Very disappointing and some very poor business decisions by the owner Hillstone restaurant Group, which will certainly change my opinion about this restaurant

4 of us had dinner on a Saturday night in the height of Season. We had a reservation which, once we walked in, we could see was a necessity. The place was packed! We only waited a few minutes, but my concern was the noise level and the service with the restaurant being so full. But we had excellent service, a quiet(ish) table, and terrific food. This might go down as one of my favorite restaurants. The menu is very limited, but we all ordered different items, and share a few appetizers, and everything was great. I wish I lived closer, as this would be my go-to place.

Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly. Friendly service and delicious Cabernet by the glass. We ordered salmon with coleslaw and french fries . They ask how you would like your salmon cooked. I have never been asked this before but apparently they cook it medium rare so it’s still a bit soft/raw in the center. I got it medium and to me it was perfect. Still soft but not raw. The “fries” were a wee bit disappointing. They are more like crispy potato strings. We also had the roasted chicken that came with a very interesting and delicious nutty, veggie wild rice side. Being from California , it was nice to dress up again and sit in a restaurant with tablecloths after not being able to for so long. I would definitely recommend for a good meal and a nice night out.
