People come to eat here so they can say "I ate at Angels." Food was good for eating in a diner. Mostly fried so if you are on special diet this may not be suitable. Cole slaw was delicious with my seafood. Place gets packed along with carhop service. Only one cook, not necessarily fast food, so you will want... More

How can you possibly go wrong with Florida's oldest diner? We all ordered burgers which were great and milkshakes which were amazing (so much ice cream you had to eat them with a spoon). The atmosphere was "diner chic". The servers were prompt, attentive and full of smiles. Good value for good food. Would definitely return if in Palatka again.

One of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Ditto for the two other people with me. We shared fries, onion rings and fried pickles between us. Everything was served piping hot. Service was very fast and very friendly, especially when it was lunch time when we arrived and the place was full inside and out and being... More

You can't go wrong with the oldest diner in Florida! The atmosphere is like none other and you'll get plenty of food for your money. Try the pusalow for a different treat and definitely get the relish on your burger!

The food and service at Angels was excellent. It is a retro diner with a lot of ambiance. Great place and I highly recommend it.

Burgers were small, bacon was cold, onion rings were greasy, and fries tasted like they were fried in old oil. To say the kitchen was slow would be a tremendous understatement. The wait staff were friendly, and drinks arrived promptly, but they were kept busy covering up for the kitchen. Don't waste your time, it was really awful!

I stopped by for a quick lunch at 2:00 today. I didn't leave until 3:30 , because the food was so slow in being ready. The Patty Melt I had ordered was very good, but I don't normally have that much time to spare for lunch.

My grandfather started this diner in 1932. I visited and fell in love. What a super place. The manager was so warm and sweet. The other staff couldn't have been nicer. I will visit many more times. The great food is just one piece of the puzzle.

We'd been here once many years ago and once again more recently. In my head I remembered not wanting to go again but my wife remembered differently. Not os any more. I thought it odd they had pages of positive reviews hung on clips at each table and I can't imagine who wrote them. The food was awful, The servers... More
