Fresh and delicious! We had the soup salad sushi and hibachi. It was a little bit of a wait but I don’t mind because the food was absolutely delicious. It was very fresh very clean and honestly we had just stopped at 7-Eleven to get a drink for my daughter and we decided we were hungry and we just drove over there and eat dinner. There’s a home run my husband had the steak and shrimp hibachi and I would like to tell you more about it however he ate the whole thing before I could even sample it. Our daughter had the chicken children’s hibachi and again she ate all of it and you know how picky kids can be. I had the sushi regularPlatter and we all had soup and salad it really was delicious and I would just recommend this place and the servers were very kind and attentive.

I live in the area and I have visited all the sushi restaurants in the Volusia County. I’m a little bit of a stickler when it comes to sushi I want it fresh. I want it good and I want to be able to customize. I can tell you that the sushi chef here is excellent. It was fresh, delivered with a smile, and I will always keep coming back here. It’s a neighborhood sushi location right off of 95.

I came here solo to eat brunch and hang out. It was very easy to find. Service was excellent. Sushi was affordable and great! Although I was to full to eat another sushi roll, I ended my meal with a dessert: sweet plum wine. The place was very private and close to my oncologist office, where I went for business. I would definitely come back here for a date or next time I visited my doctors in Ormond Beach.

If I could I would leave NO STARS... This place is DISGUSTING!!! Rude staff, and ROTTEN MEAT! When we let the waitress know she tried saying that it was flavored and too much “sauce”. Cook came out from the back and was upset at us that we told him the meat was rotten and that we could SMELL it, he wanted to be rude and act all tough, we were not asking for a discount or anything just letting them know the piece of meat was rotten and they wanna get all defensive and be rude, I recommend nobody come here! The whole situation could have been handled differently but they were denying that the food they served wasn’t rotten when Obviously it was! Even the waitress her self made a face when we told her to smell it. But still decided to get the cook and he came out again very upset at us and snatched the napkin where the piece of meat was in from our hand and threw it away and walked away

We have tasted a lot of sushi throughout the years. Some ok, some good and some outstanding. Fancy Sushi was so disappointing, one of the rolls even tasted like cat food. Neither my husband or I (big eaters) wanted to finish the rolls we got. We will no go back. They didn’t tasted fresh at all.
We rather drive 25’ to Port Orange and go to YUMI sushi.

My favorite meal is the Sashimi Deluxe, the 16 pieces are cut thickly & comes with clear soup and a salad. The service is wonderful; I've never had to wait for my food or table.
What I like best is the beautiful presentation with flowers and decorations, no matter if I have sushi or sashimi!
I read in an earlier review that the sashimi was cut thin, which is NOT TRUE! May I suggest this customer ordered a sushi that comes over rice and the sashimi on top is cut thin. Many people don't know the difference between sashimi & sushi ....
Linda & Rachel are excellent servers! I have seen the chefs come help when they are very busy (what a honor to be served by your chef)!

I feel bad leaving a bad review, but after trying 6 different rolls, we were so disappointed. If you are in the area and you are craving sushi, go to YuMi sushi in Port Orange. I’d rather drive 25 minutes and eat the best sushi than to drive 5’ and be eat fancy sushi. I really hope it gets better.

we didn't even wind up eating anything but the edamame. That was more than enough. A depressing atmosphere wtih sticky laminated menus, surly service, terrible wine, miso soup that smelled like pond water and limp edamame. We left. How very disappointing. I'm surprised they had any customers there at all!

Worst "Japanese" food I ever had.
Tasteless and bland.
I had pork kastu?
So called "fried rice" was nothing more than white rice thrown in wok, sprinkled with soy sauce for color with used oil. Worst I ever had. Nothing else!

We stopped for lunch to try this restaurant for the first time because it is close to our new location. I ordered the Sashimi lunch and my wife ordered 2 Maki rolls. The orders included Miso soup. My Sashimi was fresh, but the pieces were sliced very thin and the dish did not provide enough to satisfy. I found myself coveting my wives left overs. The Miso soup was a little different but pleasant. The Sushi rolls my wife had ordered seemed to have a tougher type of Nori as a wrap. Our waitress was friendly but clearly not experienced.

Okay, first time visit in May and gave a very good rating for the food, not the service or beverages. Just had my 3rd visit and those nagging issues, experienced in all 3 visits, make for a deal breaker- Unfortunately, we won't be back inasmuch as we enjoy the sushi. Why? All 3 visits, the service was incomprehensibly slooooooow. Despite having 3 servers and only 5 tables in our most recent visit, we sat and waited while others who came after us we served. We ran out of drinks, multiple times and found ourselves having to flag a server each time we needed something. The beer, again, was lukewarm and the temp each time we go in is barely cool enough inside- You get the impression they're just cheap and not concerned with the comfort of their guests. The ambiance is lousy, the menus are tattered and it's all akin to eating in a dirty cafeteria. I tried, tried, tried to like this place as I do like the sushi- However, 3 strikes and you're out with bad service- Do yourself a favor, cross underneath I-95 and go to Red Bowl. Can't believe Fancy Sushi is rated better. The atmosphere is ten times better, the drinks are fantastic, the service is much better and the sushi tastes just as good, if not better.

We loved this place! Went for lunch and it was affordable and delicious! Seems family run, which is always nice. Complimentary crab tempura roll and soup. Rolls were great and hibachi portion was good too.

First time visit- Read all the great reviews First time visit on way back home after a great vacation in Cape Coral. Thought we'd stop somewhere quick for lunch and didn't want fast food. Okay, I guess the "2 Slices and a Soda For $5" should have really been a clue- It was obviously reheated (numerous times), as evidenced by the curious pattern of translucent fat making the slices darker in some spot (I've actually never seen that before)- This was basically old pizza and not in a good way that most Italian food tastes better as leftovers. Didn't even finish one of the two slices. I'm guessing they do better on the made to order items: Fries were decent, as were the fried zucchini. Others who ordered calzones or split whole pizzas liked them, but those of us who ordered the slices universally regretted that decision- I guess you get what you pay for, but they shouldn't bother selling old slices on the cheap - Better buried in a compost heap. was in the mood for some sushi- Glad we found this place on a Saturday night around 7. They give you free Miso soup which was light on the savory Miso, making it a little bland. We weren't convinced "broiled edamame" was a good idea, so we went with the fried Gyoza and vegetable tempura. The Gyoza was excellent, the tempura was good. We then ordered several sushi rolls including their crazy roll (their version of a Mexican roll, with shrimp tempura), a lobster salad roll and 3 other rolls- All were very reasonably priced ($7-$9), except the lobster, as one would expect ($16). Service was a little slow (there were only two servers) and we kept running out of drinks (another quibble: they're bottled beer wasn't very cold- they also serve wine). But it was the sushi that stole the show here- It was excellent, so we'll be back for sure!!

Wanted sushi and this was a great selection. The food was delicious and beautiful! We went early in the evening so there were plenty of tables. It is a really cute place...pretty inside. The server was attentive and our food came quickly. The sushi was a work of art and fresh as could be. The teriyaki was delicious and the vegetables nice and fresh as well. A good spot for sure!
