This is a unique restaurant for a beach town, especially on A1A. It is very small & everything is made to order, so it takes a little longer. The food was great as was the service. reservations are a must.

We lived in Europe for 20 years so were pleased to see this restaurant just down the street from us in Ormond Beach. The Schnitzel was huge and delicious (3 cheese)! The service was superb with several courses stretched out in a lovely setting. German...music in the background. Jagerbraten was excellent as well. And the apple strudel was a great finish. We ended up taking two boxes home that fed us for two more meals!More

First trip and ordered the best schnitzel and chicken soup I've ever had . "Dont tell my oma". The saurbraten and stuffed cabbage were superb and growing up in a European household who's grandparents are from Austria I can honestly say this was like being...back home. The waiter was excellent and even my 7 month old was loving the chicken soup . Will be back on my next night out!More

We've eaten here a few times over the last few years and it's a little touch of Germany. The Sauerbraten is delicious (funny how some comments on here say it is too vinegary...that's what Sauerbraten tastes like folks!). The Spaetzle could use a little egg...in them but they were tasty. The red cabbage is very good. They charge 50 cents for water (!) which we found amusing. The meal came with choice of two soups, one being borscht. I thought that was Russian? Even if the place is empty they always ask if you have a reservation and give you a funny look if you say you don't! It is a tiny place so you might have to wait. We are German and might have to give them some German music CDs. Everytime we have been there they are always playing the same music from Austrian singer Hansi Hinterseer!More

Very small German restaurant--it is difficult to spot when you are driving. The restaurant has beautiful German scenes painted on the wall. The Waitress was friendly, helpful and efficient. The food was absolutely great and will eat there again when we are in the area.

We just happened to stop by one evening and was pleasantly surprised at this little gem. It was like my grandmother was cooking in the kitchen. Food was made cooked to order. The beer cheese spread, goulash, schnitzel, spaetzle, cabbage rolls and Pirogies were spot...on. Authentic German chalet atmosphere. Will visit again when back in the area.More

We went there for dinner. The decor is dated and dirty . The highlight was the Jager schnitzel was very good.i asked for Spätzle as a side it was the worse I ever had. My wife had appetizer of potato pancake it appeared to be...deep fried and mashed when fried very unique way of preparing them. The potato salad was onions with a couple of potato thrown in Do not eat here.More

If you enjoy German food, this is the place to go. We have been to Germany several times, and I believe this is authentic cuisine. We had the schnitzel, and it was superb! I’ve never had such a huge amount of food! The spaetzle was...delicious as well.More

Schnitzel House in Daytona has good food. However, because of the size, it is great for adults but not great for people with small children.
