This place is GREAT! The food is excellent what ever you get. We get a dinner called Las Navidades it has rice and beans, pork (Pernil) and a Pastel about 12 dollars. Soda in huge glasses. I didn't have one but l saw a lot of Monfongos that looked awesome. It is always crowed so get there early before dinner... More

This place a bit of a drive from Kissimmee, however, totally worth the drive. The menu is varied and extensive, the service very frienly and fast, located on astrip mall, parking is no issue and is right off the highway. The offerings are Puerto Rican cuisine at its best!. Plenty of appetizers, soups, sandwiches and desserts. The entrees are heaven,... More

Food is always great at Guavate. Now that there is a new manager the service and atmosphere has improved a lot. If you want real Puerto Rican food, it's the best place

My family and I love Puertorrican food and specially Mofongo, so whenever possible- in Miami, in Puerto Rico or in Orlando- we always look for the best places that prepare it. With that said, and after many many tries, I believe this Guavate restaurant located in Orlando by far, prepares the BEST Mofongo anywhere. The right amount of salt, garlic... More

It's a small place that has great food so at many times there's a wait at the door to be seated. I think my pictures speak for themselves...

So I ordered the Plato de Navidad and this truly was a classic Christmas Puerto Rican Christmas meal. The arroz con gandules were very flavorful, the lechon was juicy and well seasoned, and the pastel was the best restaurant pastel I've ever had. The BEST Puerto Rican in Orlando!

Went here on Thursday afternoon for lunch. 7 of us went here ordered variety of items off menu. Everything was great . The price was worth the quality of the food. Will visit again when in the area.

What great Puerto Rican food. The name Quavate comes from a town in the mountains of Puerto Rico known for its roasted pork. I had the roasted pork here and it was better then the town in Puerto Rico. Everything is home made and wonderful. But don't get too full. You have to have either tress leches [three milks] or...
