We came here 10 years ago on our last trip to Florida and it was top of our list to return to on this trip! Amazing food, fantastic service! This time we brought the kids and my Mother in law too! We will definitely return...on our next trip to Florida!More

The restaurant decor is authentic and the food was prepared well. The restaurant staff was nice and available to answer questions since we were new to the cuisine. The restroom facilities were clean and there were interesting items to see while listening to the Ethiopian...music playing.More

First time there and trying Ethiopian food. It was the night after Valentines Day, it was quiet. Owner/server was extremely helpful and guided us through the menu. Ordered the appetizer sampler and chef's choice. Great presentation and the layers of flavors and spices were phenomenal!!!...Very reasonable prices and now I know why they have won all their awards. Can't wait to go back!!!! Robert BurnsMore

Great that everything was traditional… the food, the drinks and decor. I’d not had Ethiopian food before but heard good things. Our family had the vegetarian and meat combination menus (Nile and chef special)… each was ample food for 2. For vegetarians this place is...really good. For Carnivores.. I personally really liked a couple of the dish’s, liked a couple and was ‘meh’ on a couple. Ethiopian beer : good Ethiopian hunny wine: unusual There’s an additional charge added to the bill for use of card over cash. I think this was about 6% on our bill. You may be better to use cash if you’ve got it. Service was very friendly and they were really helpful at explaining everything. Core thing to know: you eat with your hands… using a dosa like bread to pick up the food. Maybe you can get cutlery if you ask but we didn’t to embrace the experience. As such, it’s little messier than I’m used to… but fun.More

Quite fed up with the fast salty and soulless food of the Orlando area we were delighted to find this place. Beautiful and authentic Ethiopian food. Served with care and dare I say, love. Can’t wait to bring friends

And this was a disappointment to us. Other than that, we enjoyed our dinner. We chose the chef’s platter for 2. The food was attractively presented, the service was friendly and efficient and they said that next time - if we request it beforehand -...they will make our food spicier. We’ll do that!More

The owner, Abby went out of her way to prepare food for my entire staff. Normally, she's not open for lunch but we were all impressed with the food quality. Being born in Zambia, I was already familiar with the food but all my staff...were first-timers and they all loved it! Thank you!More

We found ourselves on International Drive, and crossed off the chain restaurant options. Then we eliminated Brazilian and found ourselves at Nile Ethiopian! We were so warmly welcomed, and after perusing the menu, our server recommended Chef Feature … enough for us to try several...of their offerings, all of which we said “That was so good!” It’s a drive for us, from home, but now that we know what we’ll find, it will be worth the drive, for no other reason than to repeat our delectable dinner. PS - if you are new to Ethiopian food, as was I, ask for an extra napkin.More

We enjoyed a delicious combination platter. Everything was very well-prepared and well-seasoned (the beef tips may have been a bit too seared, but still very good). The staff were very friendly, efficient and eager to suggest things. The only negatives were the large TVs that...dominated my field of view from the table.More

We happened upon this when looking up restaurants in the Orlando area. It had good reviews on Google & I love Ethiopian food. My travel companion had never tried Ethiopian food and since she is a vegetarian I knew we would be able to have...a great meal. She loved it as much as I did.More

Hidden Gem ---- family style dinner. Delicious. Experienced honey wine. The server showed us the difference on how the men and women drink this favorite drink.

Yes I'm sure it would be fine. As another traveller has said, the food is very different to Western cuisine, so the kids would need to be prepared for that. But the Nile staff would make your kids incredibly welcome and feel... More
