Good food, Great Service and quick! I really enjoyed this meal. I almost knock it off a star because the mint was so strong that was on top of my food, but I was able to easily take it off. The location setting and everything...about this place is top notch. For my full review just look me up on youtube and Seach MrBucketlist San Angel. Enjoy it!!More

I don't know why TripAdvisor lists this as "temporarily closed" -- as it's most definitely not! You may, however, require a reservation to visit (we didn’t, possibly based on the time of day we visited). Probably more like 4.5 stars, partly as we were grateful...to get out of the pouring rain at Epcot and lucky to find a spare table for a late lunch! Our server was wonderful (if not a little hard to understand with her mask on and a soft-spoken demeanor), the atmosphere was fabulously calm (if not a bit too dark – I wasn’t able to take any proper photos as the lighting was so poor), and the food was incredible! Always love free chips and salsa :) A tad pricey, even by Disney standards, but well worth a quiet respite from the outside and for some of the time I truly felt as though I was sitting in a plaza in Mexico… and it was definitely one of the better meals we had during our 10-day visit to Disney. Note: the enchiladas are delicious ... but VERY filling!More

Several new taco options have been added to the menu, but I was so sad to see the chocolate mousse has been removed. The menu is smaller since reopening, but the food is just as delicious as always. There’s only one salsa served with the...chips now, but it seems like a good mix of both from before. There are definitely still tomatillos in it, and it’s wonderful. The tables have been spread out significantly which I hope stays even after restrictions are lifted.More

They were very accommodating to our requests for seating. There's really no "view" like it considering it seems like you're eating outside when you're not and boats are going by (a hit for a 12 mo old). The queso and guac were amazing and a...little unusual. Recommend Pollo a las rajas.More

So let's just say we could have skipped this all together the only good thing about it was we got a table inside the air conditioning but $100 dollars for lunch and it was 3 kids 1 adult ridiculous. The food was ok nothing great...not worth lunch being that price.More

After doing the boat ride in Mexico last year we had hoped we could dine at this restaurant during this years visit as the setting looked great. We managed to get a table at 7:45pm which was perfect for the fireworks later on. We actually...arrived early and got seated early so that was good. Yes it’s a bit dark and you need your phones light to see the menu but the atmosphere the darkness creates is great (though we do miss the stars in the ceiling!) The menu has many of the Mexican classics as well as some others - we were soon ordering and our drinks arriving. The food was well presented, tasty and reasonable sized portions. We had the chicken in a creamy sauce and roast potatoes and the chicken with spinach salad (though it isn’t called out as a salad on the menu so that was a surprise). Service was good, our server was friendly and kept our drinks topped up throughout the evening.More

This was our worst meal at all 4 parks (we ate at Monsieur Paul, BOG, Tiffins and others and all were good to great). We went to lunch here with our two toddlers. It's difficult to get to the restaurant through the crowded shop area....Once there, the restaurant was not that crowded, but they made us wait anyway. It is extremely dark and difficult to navigate the tables. You'll have difficulty reading the menu or seeing your food without your phone's flashlight. The food was not good. The taco beef was liquidy, the tortillas were dried out. I asked for no onions, which they said they could do, but they were still in the peppers (looked like they just picked out a couple at the top). My wife's mole chicken tasted odd, like mint gum. The guacamole was OK. Even accounting for the Disney upcharge, everything probably cost at least twice as much as it should (even setting aside the fact that Mexican food is one of the least expensive to produce). Worst of all, they put our toddlers on unbuckled booster seats at a table in the middle of the restaurant. Half way through the meal, my son completely fell over out of his seat, falling hard to the stone ground. Probably partly due to the darkness and partly due to the seat being placed on an unstable chair with no buckle. He was crying hysterically and it was difficult to even see where/how injured he was. The wait staff did nothing. A manager came by and said he'd bring him some ice cream?! They never did, we asked for the check, paid full price and got out of there. He still has bruises on his arms and legs from it, hopefully no lasting injuries. Definitely skip this place if you have small kids and wait for much better Mexican food where you can actually see it (like the Jose Andres or Frontera restaurants at Disney Springs, which will probably be far cheaper to boot).More

Restaurant looks like you are dining outside in the evening. We were hesitant to eat here because of some bad reviews on Disney Blogs. The chips and salsa were very good. My husband had a combination platter that was very good. I had the catch...of the day which was red snapper rubbed with anchiote paste. It was excellent. My only complaint is the tables for two are very close. We heard all conversations from the couple next to us.More

Of all the restaurants at Disney, this is the one that will stand out. So good. The Queso Fundido is amazing, the taco salsa verde too, you basically can't go wrong. Stop here during Epcot just remember to make reservations as walk ins are a...problem.. also ask for a table on the water.More
