I was not impressed with the food. I am not a picky eater, but I couldn't find anything i liked on the salad bar. I like salmon, but what was on the bar was not that flavorful. I guess I liked the melon. My entree was so so. I ordered braised beef and it was average. I am giving 4... More

All the hype I had heard of this place and unfortunately it did not live up to it. We had booked this for my granddaughter's 6th birthday. We had special ordered a cake for her and was told would be brought out by staff and then sing happy birthday. Our waitress acted as if everything was an inconvenience to her.... More

This is one of my favourite breakfasts at Disney World. We were on the dining plan so it was essentially free for us too. It was partly family style buffet and partly traditional. They brought over to the table the drinks, bacon, scrambled eggs, sausage and potato casserole. Then all of the cold buffet was up to you to go... More

We visited Akershush for Breakfast. The food was really good and the character interactions were wonderful! The whole dining experience went really smoothly and was a big hit with our kids. The breakfast food options went over extremely well with my 8 year old, 6 year old and 3 year old. (Scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, etc… nothing too "out there"…... More

Food was pretty decent. I had the pork chop and it was retry good. The "cold bar" for appetizer was interesting. My daughters liked the princess portion the most.

Read some bad reviews that I really don't understand. This was our second visit to the Akershus House (last time 2012). Very nice restaurant, great service, great food, and a cool princess atmosphere. If you like Princesses this is the place for you. If you like good food this is also the place for you. I tried the seafood bake... More

Ok, this is a bit pricey but the food is exceptional, all you can eat and in addition you get to meet all the Disney Princesses. Our granddaughter loves princesses and this was the highlight of her visit. We had the whole family there of 8 and thoroughly enjoyed it. The big kids loved the authentic Norwegian foods and the... It pains me to have to give a negative review, but sadly sometimes it is inevitable. I was particularly disappointed with my visit to the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, as it had come highly recommended by a friend who had eaten there last year. So what do you get for your money? A cold ‘eat as much as you choose’... More

Our breakfast here was the most expensive of our meals at WDW, and probably provided the least value. Akershus compares unfavorably to other WDW restaurants. The breakfast consists of hot foods, which are brought to teh table by waitstaff and served family style, and a cold buffet, which is somehwat similar to a run-of-the-mill concierge lounge continental breakfast -- fruit,... Great place to meet some princess and have a nice meal. A little bit pricey but there are some nice traditional Norwegian dishes. When we were there, we met Ariel, Belle, Snow white and Aurora.
